The floor was vacuumed but not mopped. I used wet towel to clean the floor.
We were in Room 122. I truly didn't know a Best Western could be this low quality because every other Best Western I've stayed at was just fine. On the positive side, the parking was free and they have a water bottle filler in the lobby which is great. Our room had mold in the shower room. And the base boards were water stained in the closet/sink area. I typically don't leave horrible reviews and I wasn't going to leave this one until the second night when we turned on the A/C fan. The fan was horribly strong and horribly loud and we couldn't turn it off. The front desk said there was nothing they could do and Maintenance was not available and she didn't have access to the electrical panel (I find it concerning that if the place had an emergency, there's no access to the electrical panel) and they couldn't move us as they were full (on a Tuesday night the beginning of March...I doubt it). After researching it on the internet and lots of button pushing, my husband finally got the A/C to turn off. It was obvious the management had no intention of fixing the electrical problem with the A/C Fan as they didn't even bother to follow up during the next 4 days we were there. So, once we finally got it turned off, we couldn't use it again. So, for the remaining 3 nights to cool off the room we had to arrive back very late (after the outside air had cooled off) and open the door and windows and unplug the refrigerator (as it caused heat), to get the room to cool down enough to sleep. There was a wall switch labeled "Fridge" but it was no longer working so we found the wall plug and disconnected it. The other charming thing is there is no insulation so you can hear every step (it sounds like monsters stomping on the ceiling) and everything the people in the rooms around you are saying. And you can hear them snoring all night. You need to be aware that you will be waking up at 6 a.m. when the adjacent rooms with kids wake up. The mattress was beyond soft. I would describe it as "squishy". When I sat on the bed against the headboard, the mattress sunk WAY down (I'm not a heavy person). I've never experienced this before. The constant dripping in the shower (no matter how hard I cinched down the knob) didn't keep me awake but it did irritate me because the water being wasted is coming from my home in Northern CA where we have long droughts. We never tried the breakfast so I can't comment on that. To follow up, when I posted this on Google Reviews, the management replied “…we offered a free cancellation or alternative accommodations. We understand your decision to remain with the expectation of a full refund, which was not accepted. During this exchange, your husband mentioned that you intended to “flame us online,” and as a standard procedure, we reported this to Best Western for record-keeping…” To clarify, NEVER AT ANY TIME were we offered “a free cancellation, alternative accommodations, or even a partial refund”. This is a blatant untruth but I do find it laughable that they went through the trouble to make this up in an attempt to make themselves look good. Then to add insult to injury, Best Western tried to turn our promise to post this online, unless they helped us turn off the A/C, into a veiled threat. This is amazing. We did say that we would post a bad review (didn’t use the words “flame us online” though), in a feeble effort to get them to provide service. Our feeble attempt to get the A/C turned off, obviously didn’t work. Best Western simply couldn’t be bothered. Again, you can see by my posts, I VERY rarely post bad reviews. In conclusion, it appears the Best Western brand is no longer reliable.
There could be more different options in Breakfast
Mattress was comfortable. Staff was nice.
The smoke detector alarm began beeping at 3am and continued every 5 seconds until we checked out. We were informed it was the last room, so no where to go at 3am. Had to put up with the alarm waking us up every 5 seconds until morning. It was awful. I was so tired, I was unable to go to the breakfast offered the next morning. I paid almost $200 to stay and was unable to enjoy the accommodations and didn't get any sleep. Ruined my next day because I was so tired. Staff said they would submit my complaint to comp my stay or offer me a free future stay. I left upset. I attempted to submit message thru booking.com, but still have not been able to.

Pulizia pessima e solo se richiesta. Asciugamani insufficienti( per 3 ma noi eravamo in 4) nonostante la richiesta. Camera piccola e soffocante. Colazione assolutamente pessima e i posti a sedere per la colazione non sufficienti per tutti, cosa inammissibile.
