Breakfast was good and well priced.
The bathroom fan didn't work and it was a heatwave but the ac didn't work very well. The ice machine was broken on my floor and the vending machines were on a different floor, but the hotel isn't huge and it is very well laid out. Going upstairs wasn't a big deal and the elevator was right there

We loved that it is in Carpintería- one of our favorite places. It is walking distance to a great Steakhouse and we love that. We were able to get around pretty easily. The courtyard is wonderful. We bought items from the vending machine and would have used the microwave, too.
We didn't know we had to let the desk know we wanted housekeeping. I was very upset and called the Front Desk. I felt ignored and dismissed. I let them know we needed towels and trash removed. We left to the (tiny) pool and when we came back, our room had been fully serviced! We were fully grateful. This is a bittersweet experience that started bitter and ended sweetly.
We have not yet been able to enjoy the Sunset Grille! Both times we have stayed at this Best Western, both times the hotel restaurant has been closed. We ended up spending over $100.00 for a meal somewhere else. Wouldn't you prefer that we spend it at the property? Just saying.

Der Strand in der nähe war eigentlich mega schön, jedoch hatte am Strand viele Teer/ Ölklumpen und man kriegte es kaum von den Füssen weg
Garden is nice
Poor cleanliness, stained bedsheets so had to request them to be changed. Carpet in room was dirty/uncleaned too. Room felt damp/humid even with AC on. Walls are thin, we heard people above us all the time. Also it’s located opposite freeway and close to sheriffs office so very noisy.
The rooms and the property were beautiful. You can tell the staff work hard to keep everything clean and well repaired. During one of my stays, the AC died, and they had the whole unit replaced in under 15 minutes from when I called the front desk. The architecture of the property is also really nice. The center of the hotel is a quiet garden courtyard that is great for relaxing.
The rooms didn't have a microwave, instead they have a single microwave next to the ice maker on each floor. They have a very small pool, though the size of the property wouldn't allow for a larger one. The building is a bit old and made out of wood, so some rooms have creaking floors that are annoying. Especially when you have someone staying above you with heavy footsteps. I tend to ask for rooms on the 3rd (top) floor so that its quieter. The 3rd floor rooms also have a beautiful vaulted ceiling.
L’hôtel possède une décoration magnifique et un excellent emplacement, avec un accès facile depuis l’autoroute. Plusieurs établissements se trouvent à proximité. Il est possible de se rendre à pied dans la rue principale, où se trouvent les restaurants, en environ 15 minutes, et à la plage en 20 à 25 minutes environ. Le quartier est agréable et sûr, et il est très facile de se garer.
Tous les employés ont été extrêmement sympathiques et accueillants. Du café et du thé sont disponibles en permanence à la réception, et la chambre dispose également d’une cafetière. J’ai bénéficié d’un surclassement dans une très belle chambre avec terrasse, donnant sur l’intérieur de l’hôtel ; je n’ai donc entendu aucun bruit provenant de la rue. Le lit était également extrêmement confortable. La salle de sport est bien équipée et met à disposition des serviettes et de l’eau.
2 points negatifs:
-Le principal point négatif concerne l’isolation phonique entre les chambres : il est possible d’entendre pratiquement tout ce que font les autres clients. Dans mon cas, certains clients étaient particulièrement bruyants et mal élevés, ce qui a aggravé la situation.
-La plus grande déception a toutefois été la piscine. Elle est très petite, ressemblant davantage à une grande baignoire, et l’espace semble abandonné et insuffisamment entretenu. L’eau et les chaises étaient sales, et l’endroit ne donnait pas envie d’y rester.

First alarm woke me up and then the location of coffee having no regular sugar.
I saw e spider in the room. And is smelly. I use to stay in this hotel in the past and was a lot better. Cleaner and was no stinky.
