Pros:

L’hôtel possède une décoration magnifique et un excellent emplacement, avec un accès facile depuis l’autoroute. Plusieurs établissements se trouvent à proximité. Il est possible de se rendre à pied dans la rue principale, où se trouvent les restaurants, en environ 15 minutes, et à la plage en 20 à 25 minutes environ. Le quartier est agréable et sûr, et il est très facile de se garer.

Tous les employés ont été extrêmement sympathiques et accueillants. Du café et du thé sont disponibles en permanence à la réception, et la chambre dispose également d’une cafetière. J’ai bénéficié d’un surclassement dans une très belle chambre avec terrasse, donnant sur l’intérieur de l’hôtel ; je n’ai donc entendu aucun bruit provenant de la rue. Le lit était également extrêmement confortable. La salle de sport est bien équipée et met à disposition des serviettes et de l’eau.

Cons:

2 points negatifs:
-Le principal point négatif concerne l’isolation phonique entre les chambres : il est possible d’entendre pratiquement tout ce que font les autres clients. Dans mon cas, certains clients étaient particulièrement bruyants et mal élevés, ce qui a aggravé la situation.
-La plus grande déception a toutefois été la piscine. Elle est très petite, ressemblant davantage à une grande baignoire, et l’espace semble abandonné et insuffisamment entretenu. L’eau et les chaises étaient sales, et l’endroit ne donnait pas envie d’y rester.

walkability to other Carpenteria restaurants and locations. Some staff was helpful but staff was highly short during morning hours, kids enjoyed the pool

traveled a few hours (3 hours plus) to our destination and arrived a bit after check in time. however room still was not ready and room was changed, the room was supposed to be an upgrade but the floor where the room was located did not have access to ice, the day we arrived we planned on staying in and eating at the in hotel restaurant. but when we went to the restaurant we were informed there was no chef available, allegedly the chef was out of the country, with two tired autistic children this was a real negative as we had to seek outside dining, the next day there was no complimentary coffee and despite waiting no staff showed up to help. there was an advertised happy hour at the in hotel restaurant but when we showed up we were informed that the signs were incorrect and happy hour was not available. we ordered food later in the day that was supposed to be delivered in room but received a call saying we had to go to the restaurant to pick up our order, too many inconveniences for our short stay. were really looking forward to our stay but were generally disappointed, we only get 2 family vacations a year and it was not a good experience overall
