Not happy, poor customer service

Overall I like the place Ive been coming there for many years

Cons:

The room I was given had ants all over the bathroom and around the bathtub (and I have video proof). When I notified the front desk and the Manager, Sylvia, their only solution was to offer to send someone to spray the room while I was in it. I was completely disgusted, irritated, and honestly felt like my skin was crawling.Naturally, I declined the spray. They then moved me to another room, but it was a downgrade. I had originally paid extra for a larger, second-floor, ocean-front room. The new room was smaller and on a lower floor. To make matters worse, they didn't even offer to credit me the price difference for the smaller room.The customer service here is terrible. The front desk staff (Syndi) had a major attitude, and the manager simply did not care.

Location, cleanliness, and staff. We’re already planning our next stay!
Pros:

The location is excellent, with beautiful walking paths and lounging areas on the cliff above the ocean. It’s also an 8 min walk to an excellent restaurant. They had a free wine tasting (Thursday night) with a singer/guitarist who was absolutely first rate. And the noon checkout allowed us to enjoy the stay a bit longer!

Cons:

Air conditioner was loud, fan speed could be controlled, and it was poorly situated. It’s unusual to need one, but we were there during a heat wave

A little disappointing this trip. Staff was great but even though the room was nice the view was not what was expected.
Pros:

The grounds are very nice.

Cons:

We paid for beach front king room. We’ve stayed before and the view was amazing. This time the room we were given was bottom floor I requested top floor. The view was taken away from large plants . The people above us were banging and stomping way into the night all three nights.
