My stay was fine, I with the hotel was a bit closer to things in Newport
Pros:

Room was cute, clean and liked the balcony.

Cons:

The outlets on the bed side of the room did not work. The pillows were flat.

Fantastic hotel in Newport
Pros:

Fantastic check in and welcome. Room large and comfortable. Free car park which is fab in Newport!!

Bit out of town so you will need an uber to get to main area.

Sustainable Stay in Newport
Pros:

Loved my stay at The Wayfinder! I really appreciate the hotel's efforts towards sustainability and to avoid single-use plastic. I loved seeing the water refill stations, the Open Water cans, and the provided soap from a local Newport company. The shuttle was also a convenient way to get downtown without parking. It was also cool to see the EV charging stations in the Wayfinder's parking lot. All the staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Kevin at the front desk! The rooms were clean, spacious, and relaxing. Really loved the overall vibe of the place - which felt hip and fun. My only complaint was the noise of the hallway doors - and there are a lot of them. I had to go down three separate hallways to get to my room and each hallway starts and ends with a very loud door that people let slam at all hours of the day. During the week, it wasn't so bad, but the weekend was crowded with people. I normally sleep like a baby but not with so many doors slamming in the night. If you are a light sleeper, you will need ear plugs and possibly a white noise machine to drown that out. Overall though, it was a great place to stay and I'd love to come back when the pool is open!

Great dog-friendly hotel
Pros:

The location, staff, and dog-friendliness were all great! The room was quite spacious and well-appointed, and there was plenty of parking and grassy areas to walk the dogs.

Cons:

The rooms, especially the doors, were not sound-proof at all. Additionally, 1-2 more hooks or racks for hanging towels in the bathroom would be great.

Everything was GREAT!
Pros:

Shelly & the others at the front desk were so friendly, helpful & welcoming!! Room choices are great. Restaurant is Very good! Shuttle is very convenient to downtown to avoid parking fees!
