AC doesn’t work in rooms, they installed thermostats they themselves admit do not work, no doubt trying to save money.
They did offer for me to switch rooms to a whole different tower but honestly who wants to do that after already unloading everything??? That’s there only solution.
The location is easy to find and there’s a Walmart nearby, but that’s where the positives end.
I booked more than a month in advance and was still given what was clearly one of the worst rooms in the building. On one side: the ice machine. On the other: the gym. The “balcony” advertised on the listing? Doesn’t exist. Instead, the elevator is right outside the door — which means nonstop noise, including kids knocking on the door as a joke before they hop on.
The Atrium section is an acoustic disaster. Every voice, every shout, every sound bounces around and ends up in your room. The weekend I stayed, the hotel was full of youth sports teams running and screaming through the hallways. No staff. No security. No attempt to control the chaos.
For the price they charge, you’d honestly be better off at a Motel 6. At least there, you know exactly what you’re paying for.
The only competent part of the entire stay was the breakfast staff at Sage Restaurant. They were excellent — and clearly the only people in the building who take pride in their work.
Clean with comfortable beds. Hotel shows its age in some ways and is undergoing more renovations with exposed wall treatments, changes in flooring etc. These are not a deal breaker but they are noticeable.
Delta by Marriot in Calgary South exceded our expectations. Location was great for our needs - including the mall for her:) Our king room was well appointed with all we'd expect, including an exceptionally large flat screen TV, comfortable bed and pillows, large shower, subdued lighting, etc. The breakfast far out did our expectations, with rapid resturant style service, excellent food options and delightful staff. Will certainly consider staying here again.
1 of the 3 elevators was dedicated to maintenance, but that's just life.
Not overly impressed with the breakfast
We couldn’t get our room cool enough for sleeping.
Large hotel, it was full of children running around screaming unsupervised. The adult pool was full of kids. You can hear everyone talking in the common area and by the pool when your in your room with door closed. The balcony is neat, kinda like a cruise ship feel. The room was good, bed is comfy. Compared to Diva sutra at $60 a night the delta at $250 is high when you can't use adult pool because it's full of children.
Clean room and comfortable bed.
More Chanel’s on tv.
Parking was close and well lit

Staff were all very friendly
The customer service manager at the front desk could use a refresher course on customer service. He was rude for no reason and attempted to charge my friends credit card without her consent for something that was never mentioned to her. When asked to show the paper work for that he had no proof for the charge. He is arrogant and does not treat people well. Even the staff that worked there were surprised by his actions and apologized countless times for his behavior. I believe the hotel can do better. Happy to provide more details/context if necessary
