Hotel was lovely check in was a delight friendly and pleasant location was good room size was good valve was excellent

Cons:

One girl waitress a little rude abit of attitude one morning but most staff friendly and polite only thing about breakfast wasn't keen on smoked bacon not used to that most hotels stayed in as normal bacon but that's just my choice

Location and breakfast was great

Cons:

Heat in the room, they gave us two fans but the room was still very hot.

Also, the lift wasn't working when we arrived and there was no offer to help with luggage

Fabulous hotel with free car park near to city centre.
Pros:

We’ve always loved staying at The Belmont. Staff are lovely and the rooms are fantastic. Good car parking and close to the city centre. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Lovely greeting, helpful staff, ideal location.

Cons:

Awoken several times by people passing by as we overlooked the pedestrian walk and had the window open due to the heat. Wonderful view of the church, but would possibly have been quieter on the other side of the hotel.
Very good breakfast.

Friendly, comfortable hotel in a quiet location
Pros:

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good and room comfortable. Location is quiet and only a short walk from the train station. Convenient for University.

Cons:

No air conditioning but the room did have a fan. Loud extractor fan in adjacent room was a bit annoying.
