Provo River Inn

We were not told in advance that there was major renovation in progress, breakfast area was closed, pool area closed, construction worker in the halls, parking lot obstructed by construction vehicles, equipment, dumpsters. We had planned 2 nights, but left early to stay elsewhere. No refund for 2nd night. In addition to that a $50 security deposit was charged to our card without notice (although it was returned within 1 week).

El hotel estaba en reparación por lo que desayuno como dicen no había y estaba todo dado vuelta, la habitación sucia, las cortinas rotas parecía que un tigre las rasguñó! Lo peor es que reservé dos habitaciones porque fuimos por trabajo, las cancelé y sigo esperando la devolución

Todo, nada que ver a la publicación en Booking, el hotel esta en reparación, la habitación sucia, rota las cortinas, sucio el aire, horrible, todavía estoy esperando la devolución xq me fui, no podía estar 9 noches ahí

facility was not clean. my room was dirty and ill maintained. the bed broke. staff was not attentive.

The room was very dirty with lots of spiders, no shower curtain, the hallway smelled and the pool was drained

They are obviously renovating the property, which is fine, but it meant things like no breakfast or pool because both are under renovation. I don't recall seeing any warning about it but I could have missed it. The room itself had things like chipped tub, missing cover for the tissue box holder and tiny bathroom and towels. The ice machine did not work. The carpet in the hallways (which I assume will be replaced as part of the renovation) was worn and threadbare. From what I could tell of the few rooms that have been redone, it'll look really nice when it's done.

Tv was unplugged ,very few stations ,no glass in room for water ice maker out of order, remodeling only one entrance to halls open, most of parking lot full stuff for remodeling

I wasn't aware the property was under construction and the expected amenities were unavailable. Parking lot was a mess with construction material and supplies spread a crossed it. I was worried that I would get a nail or screw in one of my tires if I parked in the designated area.

Upon arrival to the hotel, our first impression was that it was not in a location we wished to stay in, and there was construction debris everywhere. Parking was practically nonexistent, with construction equipment and materials everywhere. We decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and walked into the lobby. It was poorly lit and dingy, with construction and debris everywhere, so we turned around and walked out. I cannot rightfully recommend this under any circumstances.
