Provo River Inn

I was disappointed they didn't have a free continental breakfast. When we booked it did say they would have it, but when I asked what time breakfast serve a staff member told me they had stopped this amenity 9 months ago. That really put a bind on my family in figuring out a breakfast for the morning.
I also wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the bathtub or appliances falling off the wall in our room.

Where to start ...The hotel is in a pretty run down state .. The rooms & common areas are tired. This can be overlooked at the price point , but the pool was closed , no option for breakfast, I would have loved to have stayed there in it's hey day ...but those days are long gone , the hotel needs a bit of tlc to bring it back up to standard ..The stay was ok but would not stay there again if no remedial / upgrade work had been completed.

There was no pool as advertised, no breakfast and the staff just said it is not our problem we told the third party vendors!! There was construction untill 8 pm. The sheets has stains and so did the carpet!!

The hair dryer they provide didn’t work

Everything could have been better.

They are in the transition to a boutique hotel so they are not doing any maintenance. There is no breakfast in the morning. There is no swimming pool. The faucet in our room wiggled. The bed didn't seem to fit the bed frame so I kept hitting my leg on the bed frame when I walked to the bathroom.

Dirty and out dated rooms

Totally not as advertised. The pool was closed and had green water. Horrible sewer smell in the hallway. The room was filthy and smelled like a dirty, wet dog. Broken furniture. No TV remote. Electrical fire hazards. Not enough towels for two people. No breakfast as advertised. Horribly filthy.

Absolutely no ice

There was construction work next door and the workers were there till 9:00 or 10:00 at night it was noisy there was no continental breakfast

That the booking agent didn’t have knowledge of the remodeling or that things were not available

Well it said ut had breakfast it didnt . Had a pool it didnt.

Can't think of anything.

It is very old and run down. My first room was dirty, curtains cut up dry wall falling apart door didn’t shut, fridge was falling out of cupboard and shelves were all fallen. Asked them to teach me rooms. The second room was better still dingy, but bedding was cleaner.

The TV had no remote, the air conditioner kept getting all of its cool air stuck behind the curtain, the bathroom wasn't clean, the shower / bath was broken and it's hard to keep the temperature where you wanted it and it was so encased in hard water that you had to really pull to get the shower to turn on, the interior carpets look like they were from the 40s and were being kicked up in spots, the security doors were broken so anybody could just walk in, the only machines that were working were once where you had to pay for things like drinks or chips (so no ice), and the balcony looked like it could fall apart at any minute.
