Pros:

The property was centrally located.

Cons:

We booked for 2 nights however we were required to transfer rooms for the 2nd night. This required us to store our luggage and leave until the 2nd room became available. Annoying.

Un superbe hôtel avec un accueil un peu en deça
Pros:

La chambre avec immense terrasse, certes partagée, avec vue magnifique sur le Rhin
La piscine avec sauna, pièce de relaxation
Le charme quelque peu désuet de cet hôtel
L'accueil d'une hôtesse lors de notre départ

Cons:

Le service, notamment lors du check in, quelque peu tiède et impersonnel
Une obstination à me parler en anglais alors que je séjournais aussi pour parfaire mon allemand (j'ai dû le répéter à deux reprises à la même personne)

Wonderful relaxing time in a great location at a lovely hotel.
Pros:

The location is stunning. The hotel is very stately and yet the staff are friendly and good at making people feel at home. The room we had with a river view was large and bright, a great room.

Cons:

The only niggle was the lack of a kettle and t-bags, so we were not able to make a hot drink in the room to drink on the balcony. I’d have loved an early morning hot drink to warm me as I sat on the shady balcony to watch the river wake up.
