Payment, Deposit & Pre-Authorization:
Unless prior arrangements are in place, we will process payment for your stay on arrival to the hotel. The hotel requires a valid credit card to be presented upon check-in for the registering guest. The card should match the name of the reservation as made and must be presented for Chip & Pin verification. It is not possible to pre-pay for a third party guest due to GDPR and privacy restrictions. We reserve the right to receive payment or request pre-authorization of the full amount for the stay period based on the credit card details provided upon check-in. We do not accept cash payment for room reservations. We do not accept debit cards to secure rooms or for pre-authorization on check-in due to ongoing issues with releasing same. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause guests.
Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the booker’s credit card up to 4 days prior to arrival. This places the pre-authorized amount in a holding state which also temporarily reduces one’s credit limit. The pre-authorization is not a charge and no funds will be debited from the account at this point, this will also not be reflected in the credit card statement since no charge has been made. The credit limit will be released back to the cardholder within one week depending on the issuing bank.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

This is a beautiful hotel and very clean. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. While one of our rooms was rather small, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was there was no soundproofing from the outside. People were around the area talking and drinking until well past midnight. Then before 7 in the morning a cleaning crew was using loud blowers to clean up the debris. This happened both nights of our stay, so we weren’t able to sleep well.

Location
The location was fabulous. Being in the middle of town so we could just walk to everything we wanted to do was perfect. Staff was very nice and accommodating.
When we went to try and eat dinner at the restaurant connected, we were unable to get a table. We asked the hostess and she really just seemed to brush us off. I think they were just really busy though so totally understand.
The International is a traditional must visit hotel. We had an issue with our room on the first but Erica (in house reception manager) was superb in sorting this for us. The staff & food was excellent. Service in the bar area could have been quicker at times as did wait a few times to be served. The food was very good with a great selection. The hotel location is excellent as only a short walk to all amenities. Definitely would return.

Breakfast was poor in comparison to previous visits.
First room was next to a loud unit. Can’t understand why a hotel thinks it acceptable to offer such a room.

Absolutely fantastic hotel with great location. Cleanliness was superb! We stayed in room 163 and had a dress malfunction but luckily Mary and Deborah came to the rescue and got us going to the races! Such lovely friendly welcoming ladies with great personalities!! Would 100% stay again for these ladies alone!
Your hotel was amazing!! Our groups of 6 were welcomed graciously. The location was very convenient to all the shops, pubs restaurants, carriage ride and whatever we needed.
Myself and my friend stayed down for the Thursday night of the races. Hotel was 10/10 location and cleanliness was second to none. I had trouble zipping up my dress for the races and Mary and Deborah came to the rescue and got me going! We had some craic with them, lovely friendly girls!!
The manager that checked us in did a really good job of accommodating us just be sure to make sure that your room has air-conditioning. If that’s something that you desire. The location could not be any better for Killarney, very good Restaurant attached as well. All the staff was amazing and super helpful. We got so much assistance with our baggage that I was not expecting. Just know that you’ll have to park in a loading zone in front of or down the street from the hotel to unload your bags and then go park in one of the public car parks nearby. The best car park I can recommend is the GLEBE car park it’s free on Sundays and pretty cheap everyday.

Food and staff service was very good. Reception staff were so obliging storing luggage for us and the terrace out front is just fantastic serving excellent food all day! A great gathering spot! Well done I loved my stay in Killarney.
