Design is fun and outdoor amenities (plus canteen) were great
Room 120 needs some real attention. I reported the slow draining sink as well as the art wallpaper which was loose, buckling, and basically falling off the wall...but additionally there is a bunch of caulk missing in the bathroom and just general upkeep/maintenance (especially in the bathroom) that seems to be lacking. At this price point I was expecting more attention to these sorts of details.
The atmosphere! The decor inside and out!
The resturant was closed during a weekday. The fire pit, pool, spa not staying open a tad later .
Very nice stay, could use an extractor fan in bathroom for moisture. Lovely front desk person recommended fun pub with food truck around corner. Great recommendation.
I like the vibe that the Campfire Hotel is creating. Lots of people hang out at the communal fire pit in the evening. Chill music going through the speakers on the property. The hot tub was a great temperature and the main swimming pool was nice. The double queen bed room was exactly as described and beds were comfortable.
I was in room 121 at the very end of a building. The Wifi connection was poor and kept cutting out on the Roku TV. I had to reconnect several times.
Overall, the location is a little noisy. Ear plugs are provided in the room but I didn't need them.
This is our 3rd time staying at the campfire hotel while in Bend, twice with just my partner and myself and once with us and our two dogs. Both times have been very nice. We would highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute hotel or are traveling with pets.
Parking is first come first serve so it can be difficult to find a spot. We love staying here but it can be a bit expensive.
It was OK. Nothing really to highlight.
Location wasn’t great. Nefarious men hanging behind the property/on the side streets. Not that big of a deal, just as a woman it can be limiting to walking solo. It use to probably be some sort of motel and they added some colorful paint to make it more aesthetic. Bathrooms are dated. Expensive for what it is. I think it’s probably worth paying a little more for a place in more of downtown or on the river. If you’ve stayed at the Jupiter in Portland it’s a similar idea — different look — except the Jupiter chargers rates that make sense for what you’re getting ($89 for a room). Staff is very kind though!!
The people were great, the vibes, the snacks, super clean!
Parking lot is kinda tight but I don’t even care. Everything was great!
It’s a really fun place to stay!
The two bedrooms needed better air flow, otherwise we’re fine
At this point... not much. This was my 3rd stay and a surprise stay with my partner and we were both very disappointed.
Arrived to an unbelievably loud "dance party"... so the pool and hot tub were unusable. The front desk agent was so stoned he could barely speak.
We were given the worst room and told they were fully booked and no upgrades were available. This is consistent with Booking.com reaervations... you will always get the worst room on the property.
One guest actually left saying the felt unsafe because of the pool party crowd.
Not enough towels in the room for 2 people. House phones are for "decoration" no telephones in the rooms.
Sloppy paint job. Hair in the sink. Cracked aink bowl.
Homeless hangout at the corner.
We will not be back
Check in was easy, staff was very friendly. Nice pool, hot tub, and food carts nearby.
For the price, the hotel was very old. You can tell they have put a lot of work into it though to make more pet friendly and comfy stay. The carpet int he room was really dirty, like made our socks black on the bottoms kind of dirty.
That it had a pool and was pet friendly
Nowhere does it say you must be 21+ to book here. I am 19 I have stayed here by myself before. They were rude and unwilling to give me a solution. They told me we could not stay here after I already paid.
Love the amenities and access to everything.
We were on the first floor and the people above us were very loud
The pool and the ambiance
I don’t have any complaints
It feels like the walls are paper, thin.
The big huge fire pit, the saltwater pool and hot tub. The check-in room is pretty cool free coffee.
A lot of little kids running around without adult supervision (baseball tournament)
