This is a family run business and you can tell that they put their heart and soul into making sure the guests have a great stay. Very welcoming, we spoke with Gary and Veronica, and it felt like you’d known them for years. We got some good tips on places to visit, and which ones to miss.
Breakfast was lovely, although it was an English breakfast rather than a Welsh one. Although the ingredients are similar, if you’re using Welsh bacon, eggs and sausages then big yourselves up. Cymru am byth!
The bar food was also lovely and a large portion as well. You definitely get your money’s worth!
Lots of interesting pictures on the corridor walls, and in the breakfast room, there are hundreds of cups and mugs on the walls from trips gone by and it’s fascinating looking through them.
I was too close to my wife :) What I really mean by that is that we recently bought a super-king size bed and we are now used to having loads of space to toss and turn and should have maybe paid attention when I booked the double bed. Of course, totally my fault and next time, I’ll be sure to book a King or twin room!

Bed had quilt and would have liked a thin cover as it was warm and was sweaty, fan in room would have been nice. But enjoyed our stay.
