The carpet on the floor is I think 100 years old horrible horrible and horrible, the curtain was at less 50 years olds hoorrble3 , no water nothing they gave kettle for tea but no tea bags, what is more disappointing is there is no hanger or desk to keep the clothes. I never can imagine in 21 century in uk have this sort of Inn.

There was no air conditioning , made me and my partner really faint due to how hot it was in the room even though before we booked we seen that there was air conditioning included but when we got there there was none. Which was quite disappointing. When we checked in we wanted to get food from the bar downstairs, the person who checked us in into our room said they aren’t making food because it was “ too hot” to cook. What a way to welcome your customers lol. The pillow sheets were dirty and had literal hair on them. Couldn’t get ready due to only a mirror being in the bathroom and not in the room with the desk that was there, made it difficult for us to get ready in due to such small space in the room. The tv didn’t have YouTube, due to it being an old school tv with nothing but old programs included in it. Had no type of entertainment to watch. We left earlier the next day due to how bad it was and had to get food from a petrol station due to the service not being able to make anything for us.

Beds duvet cover and towels were fresh and clean.
The smell of urine and cigarettes smoke in the reception/bar and halls. The floor in the bed room smelled like piss/sweat but it’s not noticed when I went to tie my laces in the morning. The rooms were roasting and there wasn’t a fan.

We went when it was very hot climate and the room did not have any fan and it was very difficult to stay overnight
