Old fashioned room and basic facilities. Not good value for money in my opinion. Very basic breakfast, 10 minute walk to
Pros:

Garden was nice

Cons:

The room was clean but really old fashioned (I had presumed that would be the case based on the property age), shower wasn’t great. Breakfast was very disappointing and not what I was expecting based on other good reviews….avocado was on basic sliced white bread toast with 2 overdone/hard poached eggs. Sausages overdone, poor choice of cereals, no pastries

Lovely stay with fantastic staff who can’t do enough to help
Pros:

Beautiful property with fascinating history located by a river with a brilliant kids play area at the back. Staff were wonderful, accommodation clean and comfortable, and food was amazing.

Cons:

Located about a 15 minute walk from the beach - not far at all, just a little further than ideal with a toddler who refuses to use a pram!

Quirky, clean and unusual.
Pros:

The breakfast was great, good choice and variety. Good parking and we were blessed with good weather. The staff could not do enough and were very helpful and amenable. The lady who cleans the rooms was delightful. Everyone was full of Devonshire charm,

Cons:

A nespresso machine next to the toasters would be great for a coffee hit in the morning.
