Close to everything
When I booked I thought I had paid everything upfront but they added a resort fee once I checked in
The restrooms were clean. I liked that they had a microwave and mini fridge and the couch in the King suite.
There was no lock on the balcony door. Parking is always cramped. The addition for the boat docks (or whatever you call them) took away from the appeal of being by the water.
The first staff member which was do respectfully and helpful that helped me out was awesome.
The lady that checked me out was horrible. I called in many times but the lines kept on coming in and out. Water was seeping in through the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. I asked for a refund and the lady said since I was checking out late due to the storm she could not issue me a refund. I said what if I would have gotten electrocuted due to the water coming down from the walls. She looked at me and was about to say "because" and started laughing mind you I'm had my 2 year old with me.
Very comfortable everything was clean
The TV is to small
Location and size of room
I had no hot water 9 out of the 13 days I stayed there. I kept getting the run around. I have felt with this owner at an another hotel on the island. He is the slum lord of hotels
The front desk they were very helpful and nice 🙂👍
Everything is 😊 ok
Location.
Was charged $105 deposit after a week still have not been refunded. Many attempts to call fromt office with no answer. Finally someone who rents jet skis answered but could not help. Revina (manager) advised 3-7 business days for processing. Truly unacceptable as I am traveling and need funds. Tried to give cash deposit at time of check in- was told needs to be on same booking card.
No working email listed on hotel website. Only contact numer for fromt officd not answered. Not able to leave message.
Hotel sidewalks were being power washed n left completely wet very hazardous conditions.
Ac leaked inside room big puddle next to door. Asked maintenance staff for extra towels.
The only positive thing I can say about the property is the location. Other than that, It was an absolutely horrible experience. We got to the hotel and checked in at around 1:30am since we had a long drive there after work. Upon arrival, the toilet wasn’t working and had appeared to be clogged. We tried calling the front desk twice with no answer but since we had such a long day and it was extremely late, we ended up falling asleep. We woke up at around 7 and had to use the restroom so we called front desk for a plunger. I explained that the toilet had appeared to be clogged upon arrival and that we tried calling earlier that morning and were told that housekeeping would bring one. An hour went by, still no plunger. While I was outside with my dog, I informed the manager that we still needed a plunger. She told me that the night staff failed to let anyone know this and that one would be brought up to me. I ended up unclogging the toilet and going about my day. We were gone at the beach the majority of the day and later that night at around 10:30pm, we got ready for bed. Usually people use the toilet before bed so we did. I got up about an hour later and the entire floor was flooded with water. It was flooded all the way to the front door and almost all the way to the sliding glass door leading to the patio. I immediately put my dogs out on the patio, turned the toilet water switch off and called front desk letting them know that it was an urgent situation and told them what was happening. They said they would call me back. 10 minutes go by, no phone call back. I called again because at this point we are standing around with toilet water covering the entire floor with our dogs freaking out on the balcony. Front desk informed me that she had been busy with other customers so I reiterated how serious this situation was and that she needed to call the manager. She again said she needed to call me back.
Zero accommodation from management, hostile environment and our room flooded at no fault of our own and yet we were blamed for it.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!
Absolute worst stay I have ever had. We got there & the hotel was dirty. We wanted to ask for another room but it was late so we touched it out. Along with this, the toilet immediately messed up & called the office to ask for a plunger. They did not bring us a plunger all night & we had to ask again in the morning. That’s when we were told “oh they didn’t tell us you needed one”. A couple hours later, the toilet messed up AGAIN. We had our step father (he’s a carpenter) come look at it & he said the part that stops the water in the toilet was broken. We notified them of this & said they would come check it out. Finally around 10pm, my partner got up to get ready for bed & noticed the ENTIRE floor was COVERED in toilet water & it was flooding quickly. We immediately grabbed our stuff & animals & got out of the room & contacted the office. We notified them of an active flooding situation & they told us they would call us back because they were helping other customers in the office. When they finally called us back, they let us know they could not move us to another room & told us to “clean the water up with a couple towels” & stay there, which is disgusting. While notifying them that we could not stay there due to this room being inhabitable, she said we could not be refunded for the pet fee we paid for the nights we were not staying & we were told to contact the manager today at 9am. After calling all morning, we finally got ahold of the manager & she was extremely rude on the phone, hung up on us while we tried to explain what happened & wont respond to any email or phone call. They are also trying to blame up & charge extra for their faulty plumbing. DO NOT STAY HERE.
We were able to fish
there was people hanging around playing music with their door wide open and just watching people pass by. It gave me the creeps.
I always enjoy staying at the bay
The deck ,the fishing wasn't great but it was fun.
The park is to small for trucks, and the manager wanted to charge 25 dollars to keep my trailer in parking lot. O had to find different places. Never needed to do that before in other hoteles in South Padre Island.
La habitación
El candado de la puerta
It was dirty and I got bed bugs.
