Our fantastic little break at Son Caliu!
Pros:

Staff, very friendly and accommodating. When highlighted an issue, it was rectified straight away.

Cons:

The outdoor pool is not heated, so when coming to the hotel when not in hot summertime, it can be chilly. Access to sea not via beach, but need to climb down wall, so if not a really confident swimmer, you can be wary about going into the sea.

Pros:

The Hotel Son Caliu is a wonderful hotel. It is refined, beautifully decorated in a traditional comfortable style, flowers adorn the tables and plants are used to enhance the decor. It is very well maintained, the service is excellent and the food and drinks are of very high quality. The entertainment is low key - no Bingo, quizzes or pushy reps trying to get you to 'participate' - there are instead musical acts on in the evening and mood music at low volume during the day. There are plenty of nooks to relax in - and the seating is very comfortable (and properly upholstered!).
The spa is also super relaxing and quiet - ideal to chill out and forget your troubles. It is very Zen - even down to candles, water features and oriental meditation music.
The location is perfect - if you want noise and bustle for a while - it is only a short distance from the centre of the resort - but to relax just wander down to the little private beach and watch the waves....

If you want lots of noise and bustle this is not the hotel for you - but if you want to chill out in luxurious surroundings it is ideal.

Pros:

I will defer my full review on this hotel as due to several unfortunate incidents during our stay we have decided to revisit later this year giving the hotel & it’s staff the opportunity to correct their unacceptable differences.
As a hotel it is clean & tidy with a very impressive breakfast spread. I will give a full & comprehensive review in October.

Wonderful staff great hotel
Pros:

We had fantastic stay at Son Celiu the heated pool and spa area were fantastic and never crowded. The breakfast is a must it has so much choice great fresh food in a relaxing breakfast room.the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful.will definitely return.

A perfect spot for some family R and R
Pros:

We were travelling with our adult sons, so the fact that the Hotel has a really well equipped gym, tennis court and indoor pool and spa was very attractive. My husband has mobility issue's and the Hotel catered brilliantly for his needs with an adapted bathroom, as well as lifts and ramps throughout the Hotel and fown to the beach. The staff were really friendly and the Hotel was immaculately clean, smelling beautifully with fresh flowers throughout the communal areas and very welcoming and comfortable. We can't wait for a return trip.

Beautiful hotel and location with fabulous service
Pros:

Lovely hotel with a great location - very quiet and next to small beach. Room had great sea view and was really comfortable, good shower pressure and separate toilet. Plenty storage too. Bit disappointed with the cups in the room for the coffee/tea facilties
Would have expected better quality for this hotel but I am just being picky.
Great breakfast and bar services both inside and out, creating a lovely atmosphere will fantastic staff. Found the choice and quality of food and drink to be good and great value.
Will definitely return .
