Clean, friendly staff
The staff at the Best Western Hunt's Landing Hotel were phenomenal. The gentleman at the counter the night we arrived was extremely eager to assist and go above and beyond to fulfill every request. I never saw this gentleman so much as take a break our entire stay, he was either taking reservations over the phone, assisting customers at the front desk, or otherwise going throughout the hotel to assist customers. I booked my reservation online and somehow inadvertently requested a pet friendly room despite not having any pets rather than the crib for my 1 year old son that I intended to request, but this gentleman sorted this out quickly and painlessly at check in. All other staff we interacted with were very pleasant as well. I was greeted with a smile and a sincere "good morning" by the woman tending the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was probably the best hotel breakfast buffet I've ever had, and when it came time for breakfast to end, the staff went around and made sure everyone had enough and didn't want any more food before taking it away. Every other hotel I've ever visited, the food just starts vanishing without notice and/or the staff stops refilling the food stations the last hour of breakfast and this certainly was not the case here. I found the omelets especially tasty, whereas my past experiences with eating any eggs at hotel breakfast buffets elsewhere I always found the eggs disgusting. The pool and rooms were well maintained and the landscaping on the property led to a very picturesque view. We will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever we want a pleasant night away from home

The rooms are lovely, clean, and spacious, and the location is excellent.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Only negative was no light or lamp for the easy chair which made for difficulty in reading or doing needlework.

The room smelt like cat pee the floors were stained with cat pee couldn’t walk on floor in socks had to keep sneakers on at all time because rug was wet all the time couldn’t let my 9 month old son go on the floor because his skin would turn black from how dirty the rug was, there was a load of dirty lines in the closet when I arrived, my brand new pack and play that I brought for my son to sleep in had to be thrown away due to mold growing on it from my 2 week stay, all of my belongings including suitcases and clothes had to be thrown away due to the cat pee smell not coming out even after being washed . I got bit in my face by a spider in the room which caused me to have to go to hospital and having to get medication due to this bite and I’m was told if it would have got into my blood I could have died, rude manager very disrespectful house keeping never came to room to bring anything and no there was no sign on the door saying to stay out or any of the above they completely skipped my room every single day which then I had to continuously go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper, and towels !! This was my absolute worst stay
