Pros:

The only redeeming quality is the staff. They were all lovely, friendly, kind and helpful.

Cons:

The hotel is dated, smells musty, rooms old, beds and pillows were hard and super uncomfortable. Our a/c unit leaked in the closet all over our clothes. Too many youth sports teams running the halls all night slamming doors. Breakfast was too busy to eat at.

Allergies triggered by mold. All sorts of issues with our first room, second room wasnt much better. Couldn't leave fast enough.

Cons:

Breakfast ok, but certainly do not compare in the least to European included breakfasts. Ceramic dishes and a beautiful spread with many choices. People come here from Europe and are absolutely surprised

Three nights at Great Western, Cambridge, Ont.
Pros:

The staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
The room was large and well equipped.

Cons:

Paper plates and bowls! This may be a Canadian thing. I haven't been here long enough to find out.

Pros:

Breakfast had a lot of great options for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. Room was comfortable for a 1 night stay.

Cons:

The shower temperature was challenging to control. It took a few minutes for me to figure how to turn to hot water.

Dazed and confused
Pros:

Breakfast good

Cons:

They mishandled my reservation by showing me in 2 different rooms. Therefore when I returned from shopping the entry into the actual room I was in was not allowed. Even though I stayed the night before in Ottawa checking out the morning of the 15th, they showed me checking out at their hotel. The lady blamed Booking.com for the mistake even though the hotel caused the issue even when I showed her emails showing the correct information.

Great spot to stay when travelling for kids sports
Pros:

Easily accessible from the highway, staff were excellent, beds were comfortable, lots of options for breakfast.

Cons:
