Pros:

Hotelli oli kaunis, sen arkkitehtoninen ja sisustustyyli oli visuaalisesti johdonmukainen ja mietitty. Tilat olivat todella siistissä kunnossa. Puutarha uima-altaan ympärillä upea. Hotellihuoneissa oli tilaa ja erinomaiset sängyt. Ulkoisesti kaikki hotellin palvelu oli ensiluokkaista. Hotellin lähes ainoina yöpyjinä saimme nauttia tiloista ilmeisesti epätyypillisen rauhassa. Rantaklubilla oli enemmän asiakkaita. Aamiainen oli runsas mutta esillä niukasti vaihtoehtoja. Ei kovin paljon tuoretta, mutta paikallisia tuotteita oli hyvin, juustoa, kinkkua ja hunajaa paahtoleivän päälle. Ja ne olivat erinomaisia. Erityisesti Pagano yhtymän San Salvatore vesipuhvelinmaitojugurtit olivat herkullisia. Vertailimme myös Tennuto Vannulon jugurttiin, jotka eivät olleet yhtä hyviä, yhtä suussa sulavia. Vasta valmistetun capucinon ja teen tarjoilu pöytään yleisen aamukahviautomaatin sijaan oli erinomaista palvelua. Uima-allasta ja upeasti hoidettua puutarhaa ympäröivät paviljongit joissa oli tilaa ainakin 300 ravintola-asiakkaan ruokailulle. Henkilökuntaa oli myös erittäin runsaasti kun asiakkaita oli vain perheemme: siivous, keittiö, tarjoilijat, aulapalvelut, puutarhurit - kaikki ilman tehtävää? On ilmeistä ettei tiloja ole suunniteltu hotelliksi, vaan suurten juhlatilaisuuksien järjestämispaikaksi ja satunnaiset matkailijat ovat lähinnä ylimääräistä tuloa, joita varten tämän hotellin organisaatiota ei ole suunniteltu. Jos satut hetkeen, jolloin tilaisuuksia ei ole tiloissa, saatat nauttia ruhtinaan elämästä tosin hieman kolkossa palatsissa kuten me, mutta jos tilaisuus on meneillään, saatat hyvinkin kokea olevasi turisti ja väärässä paikassa.

Cons:

Hotelli Esplanade oli melkein tyhjä. Saavuttuamme klo 12, kolme tuntia ennen check in aikaa, huoneemme eivät kuitenkaan olleet valmiina. Kirjauduimme sisään ja menimme hotellin rantaan. Odotuksista ja mielikuvista poiketen ranta ei olekaan 200m suoraan hotellin kohdalla dyyni metsikön takana, vaan sinne piti suunnistaa autolla. Halusimme syödä siellä lounasta, mutta meille ensin väitettiin, että kaikki pöydät on varattu, vaikka kaikki pöydät olivat tyhjiä. Lopulta lievän ärtymyksen havaittuaan ravintolapäällikkö tarjosi pöytää kun huomasi että syömme heti. Ilmeisesti hotellin rantaravintolan lounas toimi jonkinlaisen kellon mukaan vain varattuna lounasaikana: Rannalla oli runsaasti asiakkaita, mutta nämä eivät olleet hotellin asiakkaita. Saimme kuitenkin rantatuolit sillä "hotellin asiakkailla on etusija". Hyvä niin, sillä jos emme olisikaan päässeet uimaan hiekkarannalle, koko Esplanade hotellin peruste olisi mennyt siinä. Arvelen, että riippuu satunnaisen matkailijan "tuurista" eli onko tiloja, Rantaklubia tai uima-allaspaviljonkeja, varattu suurelle juhlatilaisuudelle, millaisen aseman ja palvelukokemuksen Esplanade tarjoaa.

Pros:

Prachtig hotel met mooi zwembad en alles met zorg gestyled. De kamers zijn goed ingedeeld, mooi ingericht en schoon en goed onderhouden. Dichtbij zee en een leuke strandclub om te eten. 7 minuten van de archeologische opgravingen van Paestum, dit hotel is een aanrader!

Fantastic experience! Exquisite interior, pool and garden. Absolutelly stunning beach club! BUT we learned it from owner - it shall be marketed much better, it is a hidden gem! Marvelous setting, outstanding service and food.

Cons:

Breafast on order menu would be helpful. First day I did not know, there are more to order.

Relax a Paestum !

L'eleganza della struttura, la piscina e la cura dell'arredo in tutti i suoi dettagli. L'attenzione del personale. La colazione abbondante e con prodotti artigianali e di qualità.

Cons:

La gestione della disponibilità dei servizi di lido e piscina. Il lido va prenotato e potrebbero non esserci posti; la prenotazione è disponibile a partire dal giorno dell'arrivo, post check-in, fino al giorno precedente il check-out. Non è possibile usufruire della piscina o del lido durante la giornata nella quale è avvenuto il check-out. E' un peccato poiché ci siamo dovuti spostare, la domenica, su un altro lido sempre in zona.

Loved this beautiful hotel
Pros:

This hotel is so beautiful. We were so surprised to find this spectacular gem in Paestum. The hotel is beautifully and uniquely decorated, the gardens and pool area are absolutely incredible. As a bonus the hotel had a beach club on the sands where we enjoyed really good food. Paestum was an unusual town that reminded us of a small beach town in Australia ( though we are not graced with Ancient Greek ruins). I would come back for the uniqueness of this town and the absolutely beautiful hotel

If I had a criticism it would be the service at times was a bit slow though I have to also add it was very friendly and kind
