Basic but comfortable.
Pros:

Location was excellent and the room layout was great for our family of five. The heating was warm and we had crockery and cutlery to use.

Cons:

There was no room cleaning for the two night stay which is fine, but nothing was available for us to wash our dishes to use the next day. The walls were a bit thin but fortunately there were no late night disturbances.

The motel needs to improve its cleanliness and guest service.
Cons:

I was very disappointed with my stay at this motel. The room had several flies inside, which made it uncomfortable and unhygienic. The bathroom was also poorly stocked—there was no shower gel provided, and there wasn't even a spare roll of toilet paper.

These are basic amenities that every guest should be able to expect. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness and attention to essential supplies made the experience unpleasant. I hope management addresses these issues to improve the quality of their service for future guests.

Good option to for a quick overnight trip to Canberra
Pros:

Executive Queen was spacious and comfortable. Accomodating staff. Good price. Easy parking.

Cons:

One of our three rooms had smoke smell which dissipated after airing.

Good, budget friendly accommodation that could do with a few improvements
Pros:

The room was very spacious and had been modernised in recent years. We also appreciated that it was warm on arrival as it was freezing cold in Canberra during our stay! The heater worked very efficiently and kept the room at a comfortable temperature.

Cons:

The room seemed to have been updated which made it feel modern, however the bathroom still seemed quite tired in places. The shower was over a small bathtub, the paint on the tiles was peeling and there was a big yellow stain on the bottom of the bath, which was permanent (possibly some residue from a stick on bathmat). The sink could have been cleaner (brown residue around the plug). Also do not bother with the breakfast. We thought we tried it, because I had read somewhere that it was $13 which sounded like a very good price for a continental breakfast. Not only did it turn out it was $20 per person, but it was also only the bare essentials and not very appetising. There were some cheese slices on offer that looked like they had been out for weeks. The bread was stale and the coffee from the automatic coffee machine was sickeningly sweet.

Comfortable and fit for purpose
Pros:

The room was warm,beds comfortable, linen clean and plenty of hot water.Hotel was quiet overnight.

Cons:

Unfortunately the room servicing was below standard. Our first morning we requested the room be made up and by 3pm when we returned to the room with small children the room was untouched. The first night we didn’t have a foot towel and the next time no hand towel and only three clean towels for a room with 5 people. Cutlery and crockery was also only supplied for three people.
