We were in an Annexe at the back even though we booked 6 months before travelling

Our bathroom sink was blocked which the cleaners should have reported as water didn’t drain away. Black dirt came up. We let reception know straight away.

No lift to 1st floor, stairs are very steep and dangerous when carrying a case

Pros:

Gute Lage, direkt an der Promenade! Nahe zum Zentrum! Sehr schöne gediegene Einrichtung!

Cons:

Wir mussten für das Frühstück einen Tisch reservieren, gewünschte Zeit wäre 7.30 Uhr gewesen, aber es gab vor 9 Uhr keinen freien Tisch mehr! Aber das absolut perfekte Frühstück hat das Verärgernis darüber wieder wett gemacht!
Sehr wenig Parkplätze!

Great hotel
Pros:

Great hotel in Oban over looking the water and easy walking to the town area
Room was clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom
Staff were excellent throughout. Friendly, helpful and very accommodating if you had any questions or needed anything
We had breakfast which was good but ate in a local restaurant for our dinner.
We used the hotel as a stop before getting a boat to Mull and accessing the ferry terminal was very easy indeed.

Comfy room and tasty food, but expensive and has very limited parking.
Pros:

The old part of the building at the front is characterful, the food is tasty and outlook over Oban is excellent. A good option if you’ve arrived by train and don’t need parking.

Cons:

Poorly laid out, most accommodation is in a 1970s-style building behind the old hotel and takes three short flights of stairs to get to the elevators - tricky if you’ve got heavy bags. Parking is completely inadequate - a half dozen or so spaces behind the old building, with some offsite parking a few minutes walk away behind the Roman Catholic cathedral, or paid parking by meter along the shoreside road. I was surprised it was advertised as a 4 star - more like a good 3 star. Price high for what you get, so expect to pay nearly £300 for a night for two of you - it’s pleasant but not good enough to justify that.

Bon leu pour prendre un ferry et visiter oban à pieds
Pros:

Très bien situé si on veut prendre des ferrys. Restaurant très bien bien qu'un peu cher

Cons:

Taille des chambres bien mais attention si beaucoup de bagages peuvent de place pour circuler ensuite. Attention pas d'ascenseur mais on peut vous monter vos bagages
