Schönes zentrales Hotel, Personal , was noch wesentliche Kapazitäten im Service hat

Die Unterkunft lag sehr zentral, hatte ein schönes Ambiente und eine gute Ausstattung.

Cons:

Wir wurden beim Frühstück an beiden Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes nicht beachtet. Die Bestellung wurde zwar aufgenommen, jedoch mussten wir am ersten Tag dreimal nachfragen, was mit unserer Bestellung ist und am 2. Tag kümmerte sich dann die Restaurantleiterin nach über 20 min um unsere Bestellung. Alle anderen Gäste um uns herum wurden sofort mit Erst - und Nachfolgebestellung bedient.
Wir fühlten uns daher nicht willkommen, was als Gesamteindruck leider bleibt.

Pros:

Location was good, the place was clean. The food was good.

Cons:

It took over 2,5hr to have supper as the staff kept forgetting about us. I had to remind them three times.
The bathroom was so small I could not sit on the toilet without my legs hitting the shower (I’m not a large man).
I am more than happy to pay high prices if the service and facilities are good. This hotel fell short of our expectations.

Best stay in Scotland
Pros:

Good location. Comfortable bar/lounge area. Great verandah dining area and desperate dining room. Well maintained, tastefully decorated and good sized comfortable beds and bedrooms.
Breakfast choice has wide and imaginative range - all individually cooked and served - not DIY buffet style.
But the most important aspect is the professional, courteous and well presented staff. Significantly better than all other hotels we have used on this trip.

Cons:

The only negative is the lack of car park. The free cathedral car park is close by but gets full and congested. Non EV cars allowed to park for days in the hotel's two EV charger slots is poor.

Great view, breakfast & staff. Lots of steps.
Pros:

Staff, food, and location. The view is spectacular.

Cons:

It’s Terrible for accessibility. There’s steps upto the entrance and stairs to the lift which is only available on one side of the building at the back. The rooms were also very small & tired . I did not see or use one ramp.

Oban Bay is a very nice hotel to stay at. Convenient location with a nice bar area and restaurant.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. The employees are very nice- front desk, restaurant staff. Beds are comfortable.

Cons:

My cucumber martini was incredibly tiny, less
than half of husband’s Vesper martini in the same glass
The bartender said they didn’t have the right glass for the cucumber martini but it still is the smallest martini I’ve ever had.
Room was fine but quite warm. Tried opening the window but couldn’t get any airflow. A fan would have helped.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Fantastic location, super friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and rooms spotless. Lovely food, dinner and breakfast were amazing. Both the restaurant and consevatory were beautiful to sit in and eat however, breakfast in conservatory this morning was lovely. Disappointed we only stay one night. The hotel were super accommodating on a last minute booking due to a poor experience else where. Will absolutely return and indulge in a few nights and some spa treatments.
