THE PERFECT DISAPPOINTMENT
I booked this hotel thinking it was a good four-star hotel, but when you get there you see that its amenities have nothing to do with a four-star hotel. The room was very, very small, suffocatingly small, you can't move. The bathroom couldn't be smaller. There was only one chair in the room, so it was impossible for two people to sit. There was no stand to put our suitcase, which was on the floor. There was no refrigerator, so we couldn't have cold water or a minibar. There were no essentials in the bathroom, i.e. no cotton buds, no razors, no toothpaste, nothing. There were no hangers in the bathroom, except for one behind the door, and we had nowhere to put our towels. There were no slippers. There were no bathrobes. The wardrobe was very small and had a box inside, so we couldn't hang anything. The carpet was old and had various bumps and dents because it had moved out of place. The room service was bad, they didn't change the cups and glasses we had used, and it was so bad that one day they didn't renew the towels and the next day they renewed them and left the old ones as well, resulting in us having four towels in the room with nowhere to put them. Unfortunately, all of this does not indicate an organized and serious hotel. Our stay there was agonizing and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Very good waterfront location, convenient parking next door, nicely done common spaces (foyer and bar), decent rooms with comfortable beds. Exceptionally helpful and professional staff.
The room was very hot but the team brought us a fan and then moved us to a room with aircon, thank you !
We have stayed at the Bristol before and so knew that it would be good. The location is really very good. The room had all that we needed and the breakfast was exceptionally good.
Disabled access for the bar is impossible but there are other comfortable sitting areas and the bar staff were helpful in serving us.
Lovely place to stay located close to docks and theatre
Too many steps
The Bristol is in a great location and is superby staffed and run. Unlike many hotels built in the 60's the Bristol delivers a far higher standard than expected. The rooms have been tastefully restored, the staff are all extremely pleasant with a soft but confident manner. The breakfast room is particularly nice, with a glass wall and roof giving a conservatory feel, overlooking the walk alongside the harbour that is pleasantly shaded by trees.
The ferris wheel and premises on the other side of the harbour but to be fair they offer lots of fun for families and the bars are very popular with young people at night

Mobiliar, Teppich in die Jahre gekommen. Fenster schlecht zu õffnen. Bei offenem Fenster zu laut zum Schlafen. Bei geschlossenem Fenster und Angestellter Klimaanlage ist die veraltete Klimaanlage viel zu laut zum Schlafen
Location was good. Nice park close by and river view. Staff were very helpful. I had some post delivered and they reminded me about it on arrival.
The air-conditioning unit was a bit large and noisy and difficult to control, but it kept it cool.
