Friendly staff, great location, great facilities in the room, very comfortable, big TV, lots of lighting, plug sockets by bed
The standard rooms are a little small however did not affect my stay at all
Room was big and clean.
Tired furniture that badly needed replacing. Bathroom too small and very cramped. Across the hall there was a dog which was barking like crazy. It was loud. We contacted reception. 2 of them came to our floor and were trying to tell us that they had a 'pets policy' so couldn't really do much about it....I mean...A PETS POLICYY ????? WHAT ABOUT THE COMFORT OF THE GUESTS...???..anyway, they contacted the owner who came back later to quieten the dog down. Thankfully. BUT, it was the staffs attitude about it that I dd not like!!!...as though we were being unreasonable...

No easy to control air con or temperature in the room. Rooms was nice but tired, chair threadbare, peeling woodwork in the bathroom, no internal staircase to give choice from lifts,
Great location - close to SS Great Britain harbour area. Carpark next door accessible direct from hotel.
We had a rain shower and there were plenty of umbrella's available for guests to use

The music from the night clubs went on until 2pm and you could hear the bass music thumping through the room. No an once of rest the while night.
