Excellent location on the harbour, convenient and reasonably priced car park
Our room wasn't serviced and when we pointed this out, there was no apology - although the room did then get cleaned
Central Location, good breakfast, rooms are a generous size, mine was quiet. Staff were friendly and there were always enough of them so you didn´t have to wait to be attended.
There are only two lifts and one was broken so in peak times this can be an issue although I never felt I was waiting too long despite that.

i am a wheelchair user and requested an accessible room, this hotel is not fit fir purpose for disabled travelers, broken emergency chords, slippy bathroom floor, insufficient access for a wheelchair user and i had to get reception to help me from their on site car park as i could not get the door open. staff were wonderful and did their best but avoid this hotel
The location was great and staff were friendly and helpful.
I booked a deluxe room but it seemed very standard. There wasn't enough tea available and one of the milk cartons was sour. The decor and bathroom was very dated.
The room was excellent. Comfortable, great view, and good coffee machine in the room. Close to all restaurants and bars and the SS Great Britain. Parking also excellent and access to hotel from each floor.
A bit slow delivering tea and coffee at breakfast and coffee was weak.

I like the foyer and the bar and restaurant
The hotel room was dirty. Stains all on carpet. Black mould in the bathrooms and ridiculously small bathroom. Dirt under beds and filthy skirting boards . As a professional cleaner this is simply unacceptable. Hair dryer was broken and had to wait nearly a hour for a replacement leaving me sat wet and cold.
Everything. Rooms ace - very comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast outstanding. Staff were superb - met the manager, Mattia (guest experience manager), James, Emma and Beth? (bar staff), Adrien, Holly, Jermaine and others (restaurant staff). Fab stay, not our last!
