Breakfast was very good. The location is great for visiting York and close to the train station. The room itself was nice, clean and tidy. A comfy nights sleep was had.
The shower. There was only a trickle of warm water. This was experienced late at night so a complaint was not made as little could have been done. The staff were notified the next morning and I hope the matter was rectified.

This is a beautifully decorated, welcoming and comfortable hotel. Pillows were especially good. Lovely shower and plenty of shampoo etc. Although you have to pay for parking, it was the cheapest in the area at £15 for 24 hours. It’s such an easy location too.
I missed having a tissue box, and there weren’t glasses for water in the room, only mugs. However, on leaving I noticed there were glasses next to a cooler of water that I could have used. I’ll know for next time! My husband was nervous about the parking. It’s very tight!

Quick check in to our well appointed twin bedded room which we had requested. The location was a great bonus as Micklegate & the City Walls was only a short walk away. Railway station reached within a 10 minute walk.
A little room storage space in the bedroom
Requested and given a ground floor room. Wonderful. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable and spacious room. Enjoyed our breakfasts very much.
There was an ongoing issue with TV reception which friendly staff tried to fix many times.
Ibis Style in York is perfectly placed for the station and access to the city centre via Micklegate. The staff weee super helpful and breakfast amazing. Thank you Ibis!

Room nice and quiet, bed was comfortable, location good for all amenities, breakfast good
Would have liked fried eggs or poached eggs at breakfast, limited parking no spaces so had to park elsewhere but as a guest couldn't use EV charger before leaving unless you paid 15 pounds for a daily parking fee
