The room was excellent size and spotlessly clean,convenient for early flight, reception staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
When we arrived we were asked if we wished to reserve a table for dinner which we did, reception asked if 20 minutes time was ok, yes we went to the room dropped bags before coming back down. Were seated and given menus, with no communication. After 25 minutes and the waiter taking orders from 3 other tables that were seated after us, amd setting up empty tables, while in no way watching any customers, I asked if we could order as we had not been asked for a drinks order or food. Another few minutes, the waiter came and took an order. No communication, just came to table and stood with pad. Food and drinks order taken,he then went to a terminal and I presume input the order. After this he appeared to go to the kitchen and again put the order in this way.
Drinks arrived, followed by food, which we did wait a fair amount of time for.
A Whitney Neil Raspberry gin and lemonade ordered, when it arrived was not lemonade, tasted more like tonic or soda.
When we finished eating, food was acceptable but not what I expected, no garnish and just appeared to be thrown on the plate.
As we were sitting at a table next to the corridor as a member of staff past I asked to speak to the manager or staff member in charge. The member of staff who identified himself as the manager. I presume of the resturant came to our table and I explained my observations, he apologised and explained they were short staffed. He also brought me another drink after saying that he thought the syrup had possibly ran out in the gun. The drink he brought back was a completely different colour which in my view means one was not Whitley Neil gin. He deducted the price of the drinks from the bill.

Everything about the hotel was perfect, with the friendly welcome at reception and the brilliant service in the restaurant with a great menu to choose from and a super comfortable room.with great amenities. Definitley our go to and the best hotel at Glasgow airport.
Surprisingly excellent dinner in the restaurant. Staff overall could not have been nicer.
No shuttle to airport which is a short walk away except not desirable when wrangling suitcases or in the rain. Taxi was a whopping £17 for five minute drive (7 of that the airport parking lot fee for taxis to use designated dropoff spot).

Very clean. The housekeeping staff put in a lot of hard work and it showed. These people along with the maintenance staff and the woman at reception who was so helpful and welcoming are the backbone of the hotel and I just wanted to give them some recognition. I wish big companies would start valuing their staff like the assets they are but I won’t rant anymore about that.
Furthest away hotel from the airport so be warned if have lots of luggage, staff very unfriendly at check in with minimal facilities after a long travel day
I really enjoyed my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow Airport. The hotel was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. Everything was well maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. I had a very pleasant experience and was happy with everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!
