Please note there are restrictions on children's swim times. Children are permitted to use the pool facilities with a responsible adult between the hours of 08:00 -10:00 and 16:00 - 19:00.

We had a pleasant stay at Sketchley Grange. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were generally very helpful and welcoming.
The facilities were limited in some respects - only one (small and slow) lift was functioning; the rooms overlooking the garden were a little noisy; the hotel seemed a little short-staffed, so dinner service took slightly longer than expected.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Bedrooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and helpful. I always book this hotel for my director when he needs to stay in the area and he has never had a complaint.

But down fall was...no bath robes
It couldn't be helped that there was a wedding booked in on the same day as we was... our check in time was 3pm but they couldn't check us in until 3:45 as hotel was prioritising the wedding guest over visiting paying guests....I did state that it was our 1st year anniversary when I booked but nothing to congratulate us on our arrival or a little something in our room...
Breakfast was absolutely mental...had to wait 20mins to be seated....when seated had to wait a further 10 mins for hot food to be replenished..do not expect these faults at a 4* hotel...
Great location and facilities on offer were good.
The cleanliness in the showers of the ladies nr the pool weren't great and the bathroom in the room also needed some attention.

The room was massive, very clean and tidy. There was an iron and ironing board in the room.
The beds were very comfortable.
I last stayed at the hotel in 2017, it looked as though parts of the hotel had been done up where as other parts were still dated and in need to refurbishment
There are parts of the hotel that look very tired and dated.
The taps were loose in the bathroom. The drains also smelt quite bad.
The blinds were not great and let a lot of log by through when the sun rose.
Spacious rooms extremely clean. Food in the restaurant was exceptional. Spa nice.
Happy to charge for late check out but room wasn't ready at check in! Staff were quite dismissive of this - as it happens it was ready very quickly but we weren't actually given a time. Went for lunch and appreciate a wedding party were in but 2 staff serving was ridiculous. Morning breakfast buffet they couldn't keep up with demand - drinks ran out as did some hot food items.
Breakfast was good however for those of us who went slightly late the food wasn't as fresh. Next time we will go earlier. The accommodation was very spacious.
We visited during the hottest weekend in June so we appreciate why the air-conditioning was on full blast in our room. However it was too cold and we struggled to warm up the room to make it more comfortable. Otherwise it was a lovely room.
