good location, food very good and service excellent

Cons:

being woken at 05.30 by people setting up wedding chairs right under our room. seemed unnecessary at this time in the morning and below the only window which would ope in an executive room.

Pros:

Great hotel. The building has some history so quirky and interesting. The bedroom was great. We had an exec twin. Beds were very comfortable and room spacious. The staff could not do enough and were super friendly. The evening menu was a great choice with the food of an excellent standard and cooked to order. It has a lovely small garden seating area which was quiet after 9pm.so no disturbance as we had a room.above it. The back of the building has a beautiful view and has access to a lovely walk along the river.and also a short walk to the Ironbridge. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Can't recommend enough. Plenty of parking.

Really clean and comfortable room.. The public areas were also really well looked after.
Every member of the hotel team I came into contact with were really friendly and helpful..

No air con so the room was a little stuffy - there was a window to open so not terrible..
