I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Unfortunately didn’t get time to use the spa facility.
Pros:

Great Bar and restaurant at the hotel with very attentive staff. The room size and bathroom facilities were excellent

Cons:

Mattress could have been more comfortable

Shambles
Pros:

Restaurant was good. Friendly staff, good food.

Cons:

Place is a shambles. Not enough staff, not enough trained staff. Site is scruffy. Tv didn't work in my room. I asked twice for it to be fixed to watch world cup final. Nobody came.
Spa is run down and badly managed.
Staff friendly but incompetent on reception. Just a generally shabby service from the whole hotel. Somebody with a vision and authority nedds to get a grip of the place.

Pleasant place to stay, close to the M6, but far enough away to be in countryside setting.
Pros:

Location good for travelling to The Open in Southport. Good value considering location.

Cons:

We had a very poor experience with the room cleaner taking my wife's personal bathrobe and it not being returned. Very disappointing and no offer of compensation or solutions, just a very blank 'we can't find it' from reception.

Amazing 9.8/10
Pros:

The treatments amazing and decent prices also the food amazing and good halal choices! Excellent and relaxing also we thought we paid for breakfast but we were mistaken but they charged us for 1 person out of 3 which was very generous and kind I appreciate that alot as we are honest guests and we told the staff we got things mixed up on our end and they still provided us with having to pay for 1 breakfast :) happy with the staff here amazing and lovely

Cons:

The cobwebs on the door at the cottage otherwise very clean and friendly and sweet and beautiful and great mini kitchen and great room and bathroom but I do think the shower for cold option could be a bit colder for a choice as I didn't feel it much and I had it diled right down after the sauna and steam room experience I wanted a nice cooler shower but of course not extremely freezing in our own bathroom inside the room but I do wish that they make it a bit more colder for next time as it is summer and I tend to get hotter a bit more so needing a nice cold shower is important otherwise it was really nice but the hot option you get is really hot so I wanted cold to be as the same intensity
I cam last year and there's more facilities now which is really good and relaxing

Very very poor
Pros:

The location worked for us

Cons:

Not 4 star. Unlikely a 3 star. The rooms (we had 2 adjoining) poor quality. You could feel the bed springs. The rooms were not cleaned, or linen or towels, we were there 6 nights. We had to keep asking, we did get a couole if towdks! And even one day we left at 6.30am, came back and our room was left open with the latch left open, so anyone could have walked in. We complained but nothing said or done. Really surprised how poor this is if this is a Radisson!

Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff,

Cons:

Lift was dodgy, I felt it could break down as door kept opening therefore used the stairs
Bedroom very shabby, poor decor with patchy paintwork, stained carpet. Bedding and bathroom clean. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room
The buildings around and attached to the hotel were in a very poor state of repair as were the many out of bounds floors which made us nervous for our stay. We were unable to access the spa from inside the hotel due to this and therefore had to go outside past the derelict buildings. The spa was clean but only 1 therapist so our long standing appointment times and massages were changed. We decided to only stay one night

After 100s of hotel stays, we have found the worst one ever - truly unfortunate.
Pros:

The reception area and bar was reasonable - clearly the best part of the property.

Cons:

Some staff tried but this property suffers from complete and total mismanagement. All staff members seemed confused, unaware, overwhelmed and routinely shared conflicting information to us and our friends. Frankly, they had no idea what was going on appearing to give an answer albeit - not accurate. The images of the property (especially the bar/reception area) made it look appealing but again, it all stops there. Staff were clearly not prepared for their positions which is managements fault - note - never saw a single staff member who appeared to be a manager and/or in charge. Staff members were not cross-trained so ordering a drink at the bar during the England/Argentina game was 15 minute ordeal (not exaggerating) with about 36 people in attendance. Simple food took over 45 minutes to be delivered and multiple orders came out with staff having no idea which table they went too. We were told different things when visiting the pool with pool staff stating, "Reception should know what they are supposed to do but they don't - it is so frustrating". Thus - these issues are not uncommon and since no one seems to be in charge - it seems unlikely to improve anytime soon.

Never to be repeated. Total dump. Ignore at all costs
Pros:

Nothing, it's a total dump! The photos on the website aren't real rooms.

Cons:

Dirty, broken TV, broken beds, no proper furniture. You can tell it's a hotel that has been acquired post liquidation. Service is 1/10 and Radisson should be embarrassed attaching their name to this place.

The staff were pleasant, the room was clean (and cleaned out second day which we didn’t expect) but the restaurant food
Pros:

The location for our needs was great

Cons:

No air con in bedroom or fans provided. However with the bedroom curtains shut all day for our second day it was a lot cooler to sleep in.

The restaurant …with only two members of staff working in the restaurant both nights the service was poor (not their fault). We were 15 mins early for our table booking and shown to our table once it had been cleared and cleaned. However waited 30mins to order food and drinks. It then took over an hour for our food to arrive. We only ordered sharer dishes (flat bread and nachos and then starters of pakora) all to arrive together. The nachos arrived after we’d finished the other two dishes and were very poor for a hotel - I can make better myself. The salsa, guacamole and sour cream arrived in separate dishes and the main dish was just nacho and cheese which wasn’t fully melted. The staff were racing backward and forwards to the bar area where guests were ordering food which clearly the kitchen couldn’t cope with either as guests there were eating 45 mins for their food.
We did ask the staff why they were still taking tables and was told that they serve food til 9pm so have to take people to eat..why when clearly the kitchen can’t cope with the demand!!!
