Beautiful location, bar, dining room & and enterance hall very smart and welcoming. Dog friendly, including doggy bits & pieces in the lobby. The bathroom in the bedroom looked as if it had been recently renovated and was very nice.
The main sleeping block is looking tired. The wood on the bedroom window had flaking paint and evidence of damp. The mattress on my bed was lumpy.
Lovely hotel in a great peaceful setting. Nicely decorated and the room was a good size with everything you need. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of options/choice
Coffee was awful, I think filter coffee is a must at breakfast.
The rooms were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at Dinner was very Well presented and freshly cooked and of a high standard

I had a little problem to start with but this was rectified as soon as possible to my satisfaction, so well done to thestaff
Stay here every year for a nearby trade show. Very nice hotel with a good standard of restaurant. Lovely architecture. Now have electric chargers this year (2).
The property is situated in a lovely village and is very picturesque The reception and check in was simple and easy
We emailed as we were running late and when we arrived it was all sorted and we went straight to our room.
The bar was open late and had a good selection
We didn’t stay for breakfast as we were leaving early
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was as expected I would be happy to stay again

Food was nice and staff lovely . Nice little village with walk along canal for dog visitors.
Cleaning was a little hit and miss. We had fridge in room that hadnt been cleaned.

TV didn't turn on, realised it wasn't plugged in, and had to move a fairly heavy desk to plug it in. So it was the lamp or the TV, not both. No teaspoons on the tea/coffee tray.
Restaurant staff are very slow. I ordered a drink and waited 15 minutes, then asked where it was. It took over 30mins for them to let me know the meal I ordered was out of stock. After waiting around 20mins for my dessert, I cancelled it and got "Oh, sorry about that". They credited my drink as an apology.
Lovely restaurant, super helpful and knowledgeable staff. Fabulous en suite bathroom, and a wonderfully comfy bed
Could have been cleaner, the lamp shade over our heads at dinner had cobwebs inside and the one next to the bed had a beetle within.
