Et fantastisk sted hvor driften halter lidt.
Pros:

Virkelig flot og spændende udnyttelse af tidligere kloster.

Cons:

Fik loftværelse langt under booket kategori. Klage gav andet værelse men misstemningen præger opholdet.

Pros:

Een leuke ouderwets kamer wat het wat speciqler maakte, met een bad. Prima verduisterende gordijnen.

Cons:

Een aantal details waren niet aanwezig waardoor de prijs-kwaliteit wat naar beneden ging. Zoals oude zeer summiere droogbloemen, haard die niet aan ging.
Ontbijt op kamer was weinig variatie in, wel extra betalen dat het gebracht werd maar als je iets extra's wilde moest je daar ook nog voor betalen. Dat was het geld echt niet waard,tip om daar nog iets mee te doen.

Pros:

Alles netjes. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt. Makkelijk dat er een parkeerplaats is en een fietsenstalling met stroom.

Cons:

Klein minpuntje was dat we alleen een dakraam hadden.

Stressful arrival experience, hotel tired
Pros:

Martins Klooster was recommended to us by friends who stayed before Covid. It is an easy walk from the centre of Leuven.

Cons:

We had a horrendous arrival experience, driving round in circles and trying to call the hotel reception, who didn’t answer once. They were defensive when we finally trekked across a building site to get there, saying we should download an app to find our way. They wouldn’t help us get our luggage up to our turret room, which was tired and not too clean. The room had two high windows and now view. The jacuzzi bath (no shower, which we would have liked) wouldn’t switch off and we finally stoped it grinding away by pulling the card out of the electric switch. The roadworks aren’t supposed to start until mid August, but the whole area is a building site and access is a mess. We felt very stressed and found staff to be unhelpful when we needed them.
