Was in my local area

Cons:

In a middle of a heatwave the whole hotel has no aircon. We just had a fan and was unbelievably hot to sleep in. The bathroom had a ball of hair on the floor and the bath tub was also full of hairs. The toilet roll holder was broken and kept falling off.

Really relaxing and friendly stay where staff were very helpful
Pros:

The breakfast has a good variety and good quality, the spa and pool was very pleasant and not too busy and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, lady on reception was great and helped me with directions and help with coffee and water for the room

Abso lush hotel with lovely staff ideal location away from everything but right there at same time
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely especially the scrambled eggs ....also loved the green meadow outside out hotel room .loved the Welsh dragon mugs and the swing is definitely a winner.perfect location for lovely pics

Cons:

Was quite dated and some chess pieces were missing in the garden so couldn't play .seemed designed for old people but still a stunning place

Pros:

Once again a fantastic experience staying at the parkway hotel and spa

Big shout out to Jake in the bar who served us food, really polite and professional.

Definitely will book a return stay.

Highly recommend, great value for money.

Lovely Treatments, Let Down by Poor Lunch Service
Pros:

I took my auntie here yesterday to celebrate both of our birthdays with a spa day. Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the lunch service.

Our lunch was booked for 1:00pm and our treatments were at 2:15pm. My auntie’s meal arrived at 1:20pm, but my vegetarian meal didn’t arrive until 1:40pm, meaning we couldn’t eat together and I had to rush before our treatments. It really spoiled what should have been a relaxing experience.

No compensation or goodwill gesture was offered, which was disappointing given how long we had to wait for our meals.

The spa treatments themselves were lovely, relaxing, and the therapists were excellent. However, the poor lunch service overshadowed the day. Sadly, because of this experience, I wouldn’t recommend the spa day package.

It had everything I needed for my short stay.
Pros:

The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Cons:

We are having an exceptionally hot summer so the bedroom was rather warm. There is no air conditioning.

All very pleasant and an enjoyable stay.

The ability to be able to check in very late at night.
Staff were very helpful and friendly even at nearly midnight ☺️

Cons:

Probably a big ask but could have done with aircon in this very hot weather.

Great hotel
Pros:

Had an event on at Celtic Manor and the Parkway was a short taxi ride away. I have stayed in a range of hotels in the area for events locally and Parkway is by far the best. Others are soulless with (usually) disinterested staff. The staff here couldn't have been friendlier - genuine friendliness as oppose to fake. Reception, cleaner, waitress, everyone was so nice. It really makes your day. Lovely facilities there and the room was really comfortable. My go-to hotel for the area now.
