Lovely hotel - room was very nice with garden views, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Central location good with ample parking. Breakfast was very good.
Wish the hotel website included a sample evening menu- omission meant we booked ahead to eat out. Got no reply from my message through booking.com to query menu

A fabulous, welcoming, first class hotel. Rooms to die for and decorated superbly. The food was amazing along with the friendly staff. We all had an amazing time and looking forward to returning back soon.

Un sans faute! Très joli hôtel dans un bâtiments historique restauré et décoré avec bcp de goût. Nous n'avons pas pu tester le restau faute de temps. Le breakfast était excellent, servi dans une très jolie salle par un personnel charmant. 2 atouts supplémentaires: un très beau jardin et un grand parking. Que demander de plus.

Middle of town, but back off the main road so road noise is not an issue. Rooms are quiet. Nice bar area, inside and out.
At dinner, they appeared to be short staffed

Duvet cover too small barely covered the bed let alone cover 2 people in it. It was a fight to gain control of the duvet cover during the night!
Beautiful hotel right in the centre of Moffat, with plenty of private parking. The rooms are stunning, very high standard, with lovely ensuites. The staff were all very friendly. Very nice bar with sun room & nice garden. Breakfast was very good.
The only downside was that they don't do evening meals on Sunday nights. There are plenty of other options in Moffat, but they do get booked up.
