Best Western Country Inn Temecula

I stayed at the BW Country Inn Temecula location with my boys and had an expensive guitar with us and electronics. First off, the room smelled like urine when the air went on - could barely get past it. I put the white magnet on the door that said ‘do not enter’ clear as day on the dark blue door eye level and they still came in my room to drop off towels I didn’t ask for. AND I left my pricey shoes in the room when we left. I wear these DAILY to work. I returned the next day to get them, but they weren’t turned in by cleaning staff to lost and found. I asked for the front desk clerk, Mohammed, to follow up with the cleaning staff and then myself the next day - he never did. I called the front desk supervisor, Jenny, and she never even heard there was an issue from Mohammed, said there was no report made, but she would check the cameras, and no staff should have entered the room when the magnet was on, had attitude, kept cutting me off, but promised she’d look into it and get back to me next day - but of course never did. The front desk clerk said they had TONS of shoes left behind, wouldn’t let me see them, and said there were none that matched my description (white). HORRIBLE!!!!! Never going to a Best Western again.

The pool was not so clean

It is just getting old, kind of a tuff crowd staying.

we were not allowed to use the bathroom in the lobby kitchen area. after a long drive our room was not avaiable and they did not permitus to use the bathroom.

Breakfast hours early close

Room had stains on furniture and in desperate need of a remodel kind of dirty. Breakfast was horrible

The room was bad. There's were ants in the bathroom and hair in the bed. Dust on everything as well

Some highway noise.

I don't even know where to start. The couch in our room had visible stains all over it, it clearly hadn't been cleaned before we checked in. Same story with the office chair, which had some kind of white substance crusted on it. I ended up putting a towel down just so I could sit on it without feeling grossed out, which was a problem in itself since housekeeping barely gave us any towels to begin with.

As if the room wasn't enough, the "experience" continued outside our door … a fellow resident approached us offering moonshine he had literally stuffed down his pants. I wish I was making this up.

Between the unsanitary furniture, the lack of basic supplies, and the bizarre encounters in the hallway, this stay felt more like a liability than a vacation. Management needs to seriously address cleanliness standards and who's allowed to loiter around guest rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was loud because it was in between freeway and major road.
