Wyndham Grand Cancun All Inclusive Resort & Villas

The experience at Wyndham Grand Cancun was great. The staff was very attentive. The food is great, many varieties. Our favorite restaurant is the La Vista/ Brazilian. The entertainment crew is great, they incorporate all the guests of all ages. They are very polite and friendly. Papi chulo and Gabriel were very respectful with my family. Loved the lobby night entertainment too, Karaoke night was amazing. We definitely want to go back.

So many great people is what makes us come back every year. Let me just list some names:
Adan, Antonio (is back), Francisco, Esteban, Elsa & Carlos (La Paloma), Julio & Sarah (members pool bar area), Orlando, Martin & Elbia (lobby bar), Enrique (DaVinci).
Food was good everywhere we ate. No one had a problem finding something to eat. We have been members for over 20 years. There’s a reason we return. The staff cannot be nicer.

The service we received was truly exceptional. Our server Fredy and Sergio were attentive and incredibly helpful throughout the entire meal. The food itself was absolutely outstanding. Each dish was prepared with evident care and skill. My main course was cooked to absolute perfection, exceeding all expectations. The beverages also complemented the meal wonderfully. We were thoroughly impressed with the entire dining experience. We would highly recommend this establishment to others.

We arrived on 5/26/26 and check in was fast and easy. The resort is clean. There are A LOT of stairs to get to the beach. Unfortunately the waters were very rough during our stay, but obviously no fault of the resort. The pool staff were great at getting guests involved in activities. Unfortunately I suffered an injury on the 4th day of my stay. I ended up breaking my heel and another bone on the top of my foot. The manager called for a medic. Medic advised she didn’t think it was broken and wrapped it and provided me with a wheelchair transport to my room. I went to get X-rays the next day and a fracture was confirmed. To be able to go anywhere, I had to call and ask for a wheelchair transport. So we ended up just staying in the room for the remaining time because I was on non-weight bearing orders. I have continued to reach out for insurance info for my ongoing medical care, only to be met with silence. For a resort of this size, I would think they’d have better customer service and at least reach out to an injured guest when contacted. Do better Wyndham!

Victor made every breakfast at La Vista a highlight of our vacation by going above and beyond for our family. He made sure my three boys always had their favorite breakfast foods, reserved our preferred table each morning, and even had bacon and plenty of chocolate waiting for them whenever the buffet ran out. He also arranged for the staff to make balloon animals, perform napkin magic tricks, and surprised each of my boys with a toy car on our last day, creating memories they'll never forget. My boys keep saying, "This has been our favorite vacation so far!"—and without a doubt, Victor's kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine care are the reason why.

We had a great time celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary at the Wyndham Grand Cancun! This was our 3rd visit to the property, and the first under the Wyndham flag (previously it was the Omni).

The hotel is a short drive from the airport, and we always utilize the Caracol transportation services, which makes pick-up and drop-off very stress-free.

Our room was very conveniently located to the lobby, main restaurant, and pool, but due to a nearby service elevator and room doors that SLAM close, it was often very loud in the evening and nighttime. The room was kept very clean during our stay and we very much enjoyed the complimentary robes and lounging on our private balcony.

We had breakfast at the buffet with Victor every morning. He was always very attentive, cheerful, and proactive with bringing us fresh coffee and crispy bacon.

Julio and Ulises took great care of us poolside and Sara made us the most delicious cocktails! We really enjoyed lounging in the reserved area for the vacation club, both at the pool and on the beach. I would have really loved a seltzer drink available (White Claw, Truly, etc.) vs. just the hard alcohol options, and a drink menu would have been helpful too!

There was quite a bit of sargassum (seaweed), which we expected, but we still managed to swim and play in the ocean water a couple of the days, and the hotel worked at removing it throughout the week. We did not notice a smell.

We did take advantage of the gym a couple days, and had an amazing couples massage. Marcia made booking our massage very easy and checked on us multiple times throughout the week.

For dinners, we enjoyed Da Vinci's, La Vista and Pina Colada over the buffet. Enrique took great care of us at Da Vinci's and even remembered my late mother by name <3 as they were frequent visitors. Sergio and Angel were lots of fun and very attentive at La Vista too. We especially enjoyed the live music that night.

In the evenings, we enjoyed the service from Elvia in the lobby bar where we could enjoy a relaxing drink, listen to the band, or watch one of the World Cup games.

We can't wait to come back again in the near future!

Overall poor experience. The hotel is very nice and clearly renovated but highly understaffed resulting in poor service. While many employees are pleasant, we also experienced an equal amount of highly unpleasant employees and some with an attitude. One night at their coffee shop, the employee rolled her eyes at me for ordering my cappuccino with lactose free milk (carton was right next to her, not like she had to go out of her way to get the milk). We’ve visited other hotels in Cancun and most have poolside service to get drink orders. Here, even during breakfast, we’d have to search for someone to serve us coffee except for Noe in La Paloma restaurant- he is by far the MOST pleasant employee we encountered during our entire stay. Food is also average, 5/10 compared to other hotels we’ve stayed like the Royal Solaris where service is MUCH better as well. Overall, we are highly disappointed of our experience. It was our first time staying here because of the kids area/kids club, however our experience is not worth the poor service and food. Employees just look like they are being run too thin and don’t want to be there. This will be our last time visiting any Wyndham hotel.

Sales pitches wasted about 3-4 hours of the trip (and we said no, multiple times). Room was not clean, walls are paper thin (have had cleaner/quieter rooms in hostels before), food was meh (there was only one vegan option on the menu for one of the restaurants and when we ordered it they said they didn’t have it, very disappointing). Some kind workers but it seems like everyone is out to get your money and that’s all. You don’t get treated as nice if you’re not a member, which they’ll pretty much admit to your face. Facilities are fine, but definitely a drunk/party vibe which personally wasn’t for us. Left with actual warts on my hands that I definitely did not have beforehand.

I had an amazing time but all thanks to the animation team!!! It was Gabriel, Emiliano, Whiskey, and Damián. They were the best and made our experience so worth it. I would 100% come back just to see them again!!!

At the Brazilian steakhouse. Loved the food and the sunset was amazing. Andreas and Sergio were very attentive.

During our stay the resort was clean, most staff were friendly, the food was good and the resort had good entertainment. My favorite part of my stay was when I was at the pool bar called kuku’s bar. I reserved a beach bed there and there was a staff member named Ulysis. He was very nice and he would bring our drinks while we were on the beach. He was the nicest staff I had out of the others in the resort. He made my beach time more comfortable ensuring we had towels and enough drinks! Overall, I recommend.

We had a really great time at Wyndham Grand Cancun. The food was really good, the entertainment was awesome and the service was exceptional. We especially really enjoyed the service we got from Ulises on the beach. He was always smiling, very nice and attentive to our needs every time we seen him on the beach. We look forward to returning and seeing Ulises again. All in all a great experience for our family.
