The location is the most beautiful part of this journey: 2 minutes driving to beautiful beach, 1 minute to Moulin Café, best BF and lunches and 7 minutes to the San CLÉMENTE Pier and town.
Unfortunately the all property needs a complete overhaul. Pool and jacuzzi very dirty, hair, papers, leaves……in the pool. We couldn’t use them. We found a cockroach in the bathroom. Common areas looked neglected and dirty.
Close to what I needed
Very run down and not clean. Bathroom mirror not cleaned. Tub rusty horrible. Old furniture. The remote was sticky and the tissue I wrapped around it stuck on it. The grounds were run down . Pool not inviting. Toilet overflowing. Asked to move but told all the rooms are the same but later found out some are renovated. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately our room smelled like cigarette smoke and it’s a smoke free room
The pros: parking included, 10 minute walk to beach and walk/trolley to downtown San Clemente, very basic breakfast included, mattress comfortable
The cons: run down to the point of worn away carpet, loud AC with panel falling off, chipped bathtub & weird shower wall stains, sticky TV remote, didn’t read fine print that room cleaning/fresh towels had to be requested
Nice pool area but tiles around inside edge could use a scrubbing and limited pool towels available.
Great location and comfortable rooms.
Front desk staff was not available and had to wait for 15 minutes or so to check in when we arrived at 9:00pm. Call the answering service to try to find someone onsite to help. Rooms could use a refresh.
The location was perfect. The trolley stops across the street for access to old downtown and shopping. It’s an easy walk to North Beach which has fire rings for evenings on the beach and boogie boarding during the day. Bike rentals and bike trail is super close too. The room was a typical size. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was set up strangely. One staff member made and distributed the food. If you wanted make a waffle, toast, bagels, oatmeal, tea, or pick up a yogurt, milk, juice, muffin - pretty much anything except fruit - you had to wait in line for staff to get it for you. Needless to say it took forever and we ended up skipping it most of our stay beyond the first couple days.
It would have been nice to have seating on the top floor since there was plenty of space for it. The rooms don’t really have anywhere to sit besides the bed.

De kamer was oubollig en best vochtig, kamers hebben een update nodig vooral de badkamer.
Property was pretty nice the room we had was pretty worn though carpet was stained, bathroom had rust in some areas as well as the tiling and the tub itself was stained.
The room just needed to be remodeled and the carpeting was fairly dirty. Corners of the room were a little dirty
