Great convenient hotel for a short stay.
Pros:

Great location, unique.

Cons:

Very creaky and noisy being an older property.
Private therm pool area had leaves & old bandaids. Needed a clean.

Like stepping back in time - in a good way!
Pros:

Stunning building and amazing room and bathroom. Fabulously comfortable and very spacious. Really enjoyed the thermal pool within the grounds. Great location - right in heart of town and within short walk of cafes/eateries, as well as a very short walk to Government Gardens and Lake Rotorua.

Pros:

We visited with two children (aged 3 and 5) and three adults, and it was honestly better than we expected.

First of all, the place was extremely clean and well maintained. The facilities were spotless, the interior was lovely, and most importantly, even though we visited in winter, the house was warm and very comfortable.

We also really enjoyed being able to relax quietly in the hot spring pool, which made the stay even more special.

Overall, it exceeded our expectations and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Cons:

There really weren’t any downsides that we could think of. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay and came home with great memories.
