Fantastic buffet breakfast and super comfortable bed. Nice hot shower with decent water pressure and thermal pool very relaxing. Hours of pool availability exceptional.

Room was tiny. Could hardly move around the bed. Bathroom very small. We did not book the cheapest room and rang to ask for a ground floor room due to an injury that prevents me using stairs. We have stayed so often and felt very unimpressed.
Hot pool was great
Beautiful old building, convenient parking, right in the town centre and close to restaurants. Love that old world charm. Staff are very friendly and professional.
Some of the plastic/cheap decoration in the room and main building is very cringe. Plastic Chandeliers, plastic "period furniture". The bedroom is tiny for two beds and you have to squeeze along the wall to reach the second bed. The seating and lighting in the living room doesnt make sense. Breakfast could have been ok but everything was just so overcooked (e.g. the poached eggs were over roaring boiling water for hours) and the cold cuts were far from fresh.
The whole vintage style was amazing, very unique experience, really convenient, right in the center of city, love the place
The sound insulation is very poor, you can clearly hear everything from the other room near you, on of our neighbors had a party until midnight, so we can’t sleep at all. The shower door was quite tight, when close, will make a huge noise, also can be heard clearly.
A quaint hotel with ‘interesting’ decor. The room was comfortable and had all the facilities we required. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, it is in a quiet location and very good for visiting parts of Rotorua. Parking was easy.

I loved the English apartment ambience. Location to Eat Street and Rotorua museum etc is comfortable walking distance.

Really needs a complete refurbishment. Scum on shower door meant the glass was opaque and no longer clear.
