Slightly tired hotel but with amazing air conditioning
Pros:

The air conditioning was amazing, especially during the heatwave. Parking easy and free.
Dinner was pretty good, the cheeseburger i had was tasty

Cons:

Hotel is a little shabby.
Breakfast is not worth the price in my opinion. School cafeteria vibes.
Some rooms are a really long walk away from reception.

Family stay with friends
Pros:

2nd time we have used this hotel and its perfect for us, room suitable for our needs, easy going and all the staff are wonderful and very helpful. Enjoyed eating in the evening fair price and relaxed environment. Good choice of items on the breakfast really did set us up for the day

Cons:

Not complaining and I image not the only place with this issue, being one of the hottest days the AC was on full in the bar area that we were cold, turned down a little would help. A small bit of wear and tear but perfectly fine and understandable

Nice and helpful staff

Cons:

When I booked for a family of 3 and a pet dog, I thought the charge included everything. But at check in I was SHOCKED to hear we had to pay £20 each night for our pet dog. This is equivalent to dog care back at home town. This was NOT informed at time of booking and I had to pay £40!!

Good value for money hotel
Pros:

Main reasons for choosing this hotel were the free on site parking (big car park) and air conditioning in room (we were in the middle of a heatwave and several other hotels did not have a/c).
Room was a good size, very comfortable and clean. Excellent shower.
Staff were all friendly.
Good bar & restaurant. Food menu had lots of choices and portions were generous. Prices felt a little expensive but that might just be me living in the past as i don't eat out a lot.
Room price was very reasonable though, giving excellent overall value for money.

Helen looked after our coffee request (although quality of coffee was typically sub standard).
Good parking on premises
