Abbiamo soggiornato al Movenpick di Surabaya come base per la gita sul Monte Bromo, ma ci siamo trovati benissimo. Hotel moderno, molto curato, con personale accogliente e gentile. Stanza impeccabile e letti molto comodi. Bellissimo anche il piano con palestra e piscina sul terrazzo! Abbiamo mangiato spesso al ristorante dell'hotel ed è stato ottimo. Colazione con grande varietà di scelta, con opzioni sia indonesiane che occidentali.

Beaucoup de bruit a mon etage (21) surtout des portes qui claquent meme le soir.
Le petit dej a bcp trop de choix les instructions ne sont pas claires ca m’a perdue.
Le room service est top mais les plats salés que j’ai commandés n’etaient vraiment pas a la hauteur (pizza immangeable) et chers.
Les desserts etaient bons.
La chambre était juste parfaite !
Lit confortable, la salle de bain avec de bons amenagements et une vue sur la ville.
Le buffet du petit déjeuner etait delicieux.
La salle de sport propose divers machine.

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Surabaya City and came away feeling that this is a very good value-for-money 5-star hotel. The rate was very affordable for a property in this category, yet the overall experience still felt very much like a proper 5-star stay.
As an Accor Platinum member, I was happy to receive the usual recognition, including a complimentary room upgrade to a Deluxe Room, welcome amenities, and free breakfast. Another nice touch was the complimentary afternoon tea at the Level 7 restaurant, which added extra value to the stay.
The room was modern, comfortable, and nicely designed. I liked the overall feel of the room, and it came with a work desk that, while not very large, was still just nice enough for me to set up my laptop, MacBook, and gadgets comfortably. For a short business stay, it worked well enough. I also appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks provided in the room.
The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. Service was warm and professional, and that always makes a difference.
The gym was also quite decent. It is not huge, but the equipment looked well maintained and perfectly adequate for a proper workout. The pool area is another highlight, with a modern and relaxing atmosphere that suits the overall upscale feel of the hotel.
That said, there are a couple of points worth mentioning. For a 5-star Accor hotel, I was a little surprised that there is no executive lounge. Normally, that is something I would expect from a hotel at this level. Also, although I received a room upgrade, there was no in-room coffee machine, which is something I usually enjoy having in similar hotels. The complimentary beverages and snacks were appreciated, but personally I do not drink Coke or Sprite, and the snack selection was not really for me.
Even with those points, I still think this hotel delivers very good overall value. If you are travelling to Surabaya and looking for a modern luxury hotel with good location, friendly service, and an affordable rate, this is definitely a property worth considering.

Het restaurant was erg goed, goed internationaal ontbijt. Op de begane grond, hebben ze hele lekkere koffie. Personeel is heel vriendelijk.

Prachtige kamer met uitzicht op de stad. Heerlijk bed, kussens, lakens en handdoeken.
Kamer was schoon en modern. Ontbijt enorm uitgebreid en van hoge kwaliteit.
