It’s looking tierd and in need of a refurb. Food is good but some items are very expensive, and menu is limited in choice.

Fabulous stay at the Bonnie Badger
Pros:

Location was perfect for Scottish Golf open, breakfast was great, cooked to order and the granola was best I have tasted. The little touches like homemade flapjack and water to take to the golf made it very special. All the staff were attentive and friendly.

Great location but food overpriced
Pros:

Friendly staff and great location.

Cons:

Cottage bedrooms in need of a refurb which is happening under new ownership. Food in main restaurant is massively overpriced - I can eat in some of London’s best restaurants for less. Same goes for the wine list

Poor value for money! Attic room for £412 which had a very narrow steep staircase which was difficult to access with a suitcase! Very expensive bar menus meal!

Location excellent for golf. Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly

Cons:

Very poor meal on 1st night. Chose not to eat there in the evening again. Overpriced and poor quality. Accommodation was expensive for 3 nights

I had high hopes but felt disappointed - beautifully put together but average service overall.
Pros:

The decor, the room

Cons:

The service in the bar area was poor. Overpriced for the quality of food, which was good but not as great as I thought it would be. I don't think they should charge £25 per dog on top of a premium price. Breakfast again good, service average there too. Served but no check done on anything else we needed.
