Great location, large comfortable room, would definitely stay there again.

A great stay, in an excellent location. The room was big, very comfortable and a nice view.

Cons:

Everything was great aside from the surly, non communicative staff member on the front desk when we checked in. No explanation as to how the hotel worked etc. (it’s a bit more self help than other hotels). The advertised room service also didn’t seem to be an option.

Pros:

Uno de los hoteles más lindos que hemos conocido, nos gusto todo sobretodo nuestra habitación con vistas al canal, si bien es cierto que está un poco alejado del centro pero el barrio de los museos donde está ubicado es muy tranquilo y a un paso del Van Gogh y del Rilkjsmuseum.

Wonderful stay - will stay again if we visit Amsterdam again.
Pros:

Very spacious room with great view. Location was excellent for our requirements - Rijks Museum and Cuyp Straat Markets. Enjoyed the self-service coffee and comfortable lounge area after we checked out and had a few hours to wait before going to the airport.

A very enjoyable stay
Pros:

We had a very enjoyable stay. It was convenient for the areas we wished to visit. The view we lovely and it was by the canal. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. A wide range of toiletries where made available. Tea and coffee were provided in the room and a small fridge. Although we did not have breakfast, a range of food and drink items were available to buy near reception. Also comfortable seating was provided there. We walked easily to most places and there were buses and trains within easy walking distance. The room we chose was quite expensive but it was in a very central place and the accommodation was a of a good standard.

Cons:

Nothing really. Apart from the one in the batgroom an additional waste bin in the bedroom would have been useful. It is good they have recycling bins in the room.

Wonderful stay at Avani in Amsterdam; spacious and bright room with great b’fast!

A lot of walking to get to pretty charming streets … where rooms may be a lot smaller.

Would choose again because of location.

Cons:

Rooms dark with light bright enough to read only at bedside.
No towel racks or anywhere but floor to put them. One rack up very high and inside shower, can’t reach.
Shower slippery. No bar or restaurant.
