Genuint trevligt, vänlig personal, inbjudande allmänna utrymmen, små men rena och snygga rum
Pros:

Bästa av fyra ställen vi bodde på, överraskande stora utrymmen för trivsel och fika, även utomhus! Reception med riktiga människor som jobbade där, ovanligt nuförtiden i Nice. Stort plus för en mänskligare faktor!

SEJOUR DECEVANT
Pros:

L'équipe (en dehors des agents d'entretien) était très agréable et à l'écoute. La jeune équipe du 1er Mai présent à l'accueil a fait son possible pour résoudre au mieux tous les problèmes qu'elle rencontrait.
La localisation parfaite pour découvrir les différents quartiers de Nice. A 15 min de la gare et 7 min de l'arrêt de bus qui mêne à l'aéroport.

Cons:

Je suis très surprise par la note Google de 4,8 et les 4 étoiles attribuées à cet établissement.

L’hôtel montre déjà de sévères signes de vieillissement, malgré des photos très flatteuses sur les réseaux.
Le personnel a certes fait un effort pour nous proposer un early check-in, mais la première chambre attribuée sentait fortement le tabac.

Dans la seconde, le coffre-fort était oxydé, ce qui laisse penser qu’il n’est pas régulièrement contrôlé par le service d’entretien — il a néanmoins été réparé dans la journée. Nous avons également dû demander un nettoyage de la penderie, où la poussière semblait s’accumuler depuis un certain temps.
Par ailleurs, le personnel de ménage s’est montré particulièrement désagréable de manière générale. En particulier, lorsque nous sommes passés récupérer des affaires pendant une minute, cela a visiblement été mal perçu et on nous l’a fait comprendre sans détour.

La chambre est petite et non insonorisée. Heureusement, nous étions côté cour, ce qui a permis de limiter les nuisances sonores au moins extérieures. Le lit est inconfortable. La salle de bain, malgré sa taille, était en bon état. Absence de cache pour les piles de la télécommande : cela est un détail, mais reflet de l'état général et de l'attention aux détails.

Enfin, la climatisation présente est inexistante. Ce qui semble admis par l'établissement puisqu'un ventilation est proposé dans la penderie....

Une classification 3 étoiles serait, à mon sens, plus en adéquation.

Highly recommend
Pros:

Spent three nights here in The Deck Hotel. It was very central and a great location to restaurants, shops, trains, and the main square and promenade. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend the staff, they were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. You will find the breakfast rooms on split levels with great choices. Something for everyone. I would highly recommend The Deck Hotel and we will definitely be back. Great value for money. We were given a little parting gift from the staff also which was very thoughtful. All in all, our trip to Nice was very successful.
