The breakfast was ok. The sausages were good, but the rest wasn't great. There needs to be more gf options.
The pool was closed 80% of the time we were there which was why we chose this hotel to begin with.
Called and asked for more towels, was told it would be about 10 minutes. Had to go down to the front desk in person 30 minutes later to actually get them.
We liked that the hotel was across the street from Millennium Place where our child was playing a tournament at.
The rooms were not clean for a 4 star. There was NO hot water. There were holes in the shower walls that my husband had to cover up. He is a plumber and could not figure out what they would have been from, why they were there or even how they got there, from a plumbing perspective. Very odd and creepy. When we questioned about the hot water we were told to just run taps for 10 more minutes. Unacceptable.
We weren’t the only ones in our team group that had issues.
Breakfast was cold, BUT EDIBLE.
Hot sausages....
Great staff Great room smelt good and easy to find
Nice staff clean rooms
This hotel has the greatest potential that I have ever seen. It needs costly major upgrades and Reno's but the return they would receive would far outdo their expenses. It could easily become a #1 business destination for Edmonton. Most unfortunate
The foyer is magnificent
The location was great. Was their for a soccer tournement. Staff was nice.. The lobby is very pretty..
The rooms are dated .. the matresses could be replaced they slopped to the middle and the room had a old misty smell. With water stains on the bathroom ceiling above the vanity and toilet area.. We did find some hair in the bathtub upon check in
Price when I booked was great But checked after and it was almost double if I booked later.
Breakfast. Round rubbery eggs, not much choice. Front desk advised us when we called down to get more towels that he wasn’t qualified to bring things to the room.
Quiet, close to Millennium Place
Forgot to ask for the soccer discount. Expensive without discounts for what you get
I liked the breakfast, it was really good selection of food. Room was comfortable.
Hotel a little older but still nice.
It was quiet and all I needed for the one night stay I was there. Staff were exhausted from an earlier event but still very good and professional with me. Kudos to both evening and morning front desk staff. I asked for a late check in so I could sleep in and it was granted. I was able to go to the breakfast room to get what I needed them go back to sleep. I would and have already recommended the hotel to friends.
There were no bathroom items like a shower cap or soap for the sink. Otherwise everything was good and great value for money.
They were still changing our pillow cases when we came. We had no soap to wash our hands and we ran out of body wash.
I was disappointed that there wasn’t a microwave in our room.
The comfort
Nothing
Easy access to the Millennium Center
The bed was uncomfortable and hot, even with the air-conditioner running on full. The carpet and upholstery on the chair was gross dirty. The sheets were clean but there was dirt and hair on a pillow and part of the bed. Looked like the pillow had been dropped on the floor and then put back on the bed. The bathroom was clean, thank goodness. The area is noisy with trains just fyi but the hotel its self is very noisy and there is very little sound proofing anywhere as we heard everyone moving around. It never did get quiet. We were there for a sporting event at the Millennium Center so the connected parking lot was good. The area around was good for food and a few shops . I would not recommend staying here. I will not stay here in the future.
Good location
Beds not good
The location was great because it was right next to millennium place. Breakfast was mediocre. No choice of fruit juice- apple juice was watered down with ice. No yogurt or bagels. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly but had to understand. The layout of the rooms was good.
I booked this room to spend the night with my two little grandkids who wanted to swim. The pool was so cold that my 7 year old granddaughter could not stop shaking and her lips turned blue. We lasted maybe a half hour. We had to go to the front desk to ask for pool towels because there were none at the pool. I was originally wanting the kingsize executive suite but when I called the hotel to ask some questions, I was told they had none of those suites available. I booked the deluxe room with two queen beds. I was very disappointed when we first entered the room to see that there were crumbs of chips on the floor. A housekeeping lady was in the hallway and I mentioned it to her so she came with a rag and swished it around to try and get rid of the crumbs. Later that night, when I went to put the kids to bed, I noticed a bunch of black hair on one of the pillowcases. at that point I called the front desk and asked for a clean pillowcase and for them to come take a look. While waiting for the guy at the front desk to come to the room, I noticed that not just one pillow, but three of the four pillows on the one queen bed had black hair or dark hair all over them and it was also all over the top cover of the bed and the sheet. we then noticed that there were chunks of crackers under the bed skirt. Which I might add the bed skirt did not properly fit the bed either. When the gentleman from the front desk came up to the room, I showed him the crumbs all over the floor in the entry area. Also, it looked like some kind of dead skin or something all over the floor in the bathroom. I pointed out all of the hairs on the bed and showed him the cracker on the floor. I did share a picture to him of crackers under the bed skirt & he took pictures of the hairs on the bed, the pillowcase, the crumbs, etc on the floor. Our room number 475.
