Cleanliness
1
Multiple guests reported stained and dirty bedding, scummy bathroom switches, unmade beds and generally unclean rooms; some had to change rooms.
Service
1
Staff were repeatedly described as friendly and accommodating (allowed late check-in, responsive front desk), which guests praised despite other issues.
Location
1
Convenient location for conferences and North Edmonton, with easy parking; generally cited as a positive.
Room Quality
1
Room problems noted: noisy or ineffective AC (extremely hot or loud), electrical issues (sparks), hard-to-unlock door, poor pillow/bed setup, and slow/draining bathroom.
Amenities
1
Gym and pool were liked but pool upkeep and safety (no life jackets) were concerns; rooms lacked microwaves and there is no on-site restaurant.
Value for Money
1
Some guests felt the stay was only marginally acceptable for the price ("meh" for $103) given cleanliness and room issues, though breakfast and parking added some value.
Food and Beverage
1
Complimentary breakfast was frequently described as tasty and a positive, though selections were limited and there is no full restaurant onsite.
Overall Experience
1
Mixed overall: helpful staff, good breakfast, convenient location and decent gym/pool made stays workable for many guests, but cleanliness and several room-quality issues significantly detracted from the experience.

The floors were dirty. There is only one ice machine in the whole building, and it was broken. Everyone had to get ice f
Pros:

This hotel has the greatest potential that I have ever seen. It needs costly major upgrades and Reno's but the return they would receive would far outdo their expenses. It could easily become a #1 business destination for Edmonton. Most unfortunate

Cons:

The foyer is magnificent

Pros:

The location was great. Was their for a soccer tournement. Staff was nice.. The lobby is very pretty..

Cons:

The rooms are dated .. the matresses could be replaced they slopped to the middle and the room had a old misty smell. With water stains on the bathroom ceiling above the vanity and toilet area.. We did find some hair in the bathtub upon check in

I feel the hotel has gone down hill, poor breakfast and customer service.
Pros:

Price when I booked was great But checked after and it was almost double if I booked later.

Cons:

Breakfast. Round rubbery eggs, not much choice. Front desk advised us when we called down to get more towels that he wasn’t qualified to bring things to the room.

I arrived late after a long drive, room and bed were comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.
Pros:

It was quiet and all I needed for the one night stay I was there. Staff were exhausted from an earlier event but still very good and professional with me. Kudos to both evening and morning front desk staff. I asked for a late check in so I could sleep in and it was granted. I was able to go to the breakfast room to get what I needed them go back to sleep. I would and have already recommended the hotel to friends.

Cons:

There were no bathroom items like a shower cap or soap for the sink. Otherwise everything was good and great value for money.

It was ok.
Cons:

They were still changing our pillow cases when we came. We had no soap to wash our hands and we ran out of body wash.
I was disappointed that there wasn’t a microwave in our room.

Convenient but not worth it!
Pros:

Easy access to the Millennium Center

Cons:

The bed was uncomfortable and hot, even with the air-conditioner running on full. The carpet and upholstery on the chair was gross dirty. The sheets were clean but there was dirt and hair on a pillow and part of the bed. Looked like the pillow had been dropped on the floor and then put back on the bed. The bathroom was clean, thank goodness. The area is noisy with trains just fyi but the hotel its self is very noisy and there is very little sound proofing anywhere as we heard everyone moving around. It never did get quiet. We were there for a sporting event at the Millennium Center so the connected parking lot was good. The area around was good for food and a few shops . I would not recommend staying here. I will not stay here in the future.

Very disappointed in the cleanliness of this hotel. There was no manager on site to deal with.
Pros:

The location was great because it was right next to millennium place. Breakfast was mediocre. No choice of fruit juice- apple juice was watered down with ice. No yogurt or bagels. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly but had to understand. The layout of the rooms was good.

Cons:

I booked this room to spend the night with my two little grandkids who wanted to swim. The pool was so cold that my 7 year old granddaughter could not stop shaking and her lips turned blue. We lasted maybe a half hour. We had to go to the front desk to ask for pool towels because there were none at the pool. I was originally wanting the kingsize executive suite but when I called the hotel to ask some questions, I was told they had none of those suites available. I booked the deluxe room with two queen beds. I was very disappointed when we first entered the room to see that there were crumbs of chips on the floor. A housekeeping lady was in the hallway and I mentioned it to her so she came with a rag and swished it around to try and get rid of the crumbs. Later that night, when I went to put the kids to bed, I noticed a bunch of black hair on one of the pillowcases. at that point I called the front desk and asked for a clean pillowcase and for them to come take a look. While waiting for the guy at the front desk to come to the room, I noticed that not just one pillow, but three of the four pillows on the one queen bed had black hair or dark hair all over them and it was also all over the top cover of the bed and the sheet. we then noticed that there were chunks of crackers under the bed skirt. Which I might add the bed skirt did not properly fit the bed either. When the gentleman from the front desk came up to the room, I showed him the crumbs all over the floor in the entry area. Also, it looked like some kind of dead skin or something all over the floor in the bathroom. I pointed out all of the hairs on the bed and showed him the cracker on the floor. I did share a picture to him of crackers under the bed skirt & he took pictures of the hairs on the bed, the pillowcase, the crumbs, etc on the floor. Our room number 475.
