Loved it. So close to everything

The bed was comfy and the room was a good size. The staff were great.
Loved the Thank you shower wash, shampoo and conditioner. I'm buying some.
Had to pay for parking across the road in the undercover parking $30 a day. It's cheaper to park near the park diagonal from the hotel.

The room was lovely. Good bathroom. Door to open on to patio for fresh air really appreciated.
Check in was delayed for many guests. The queue at the driveway in front went out on to the street. Staff would not let me check in without my husband as the booking had been made by him. This had not been made clear at the time of booking. This made the drive through clogged with cars for us and other guests in the same situation. The parking was not clear so we went to the wrong car park. Other guests were wandering around looking for the correct car park too. After a very poor start we did enjoy our stay. Many guests made similar comments.
Breakfast was very good.
The tv remote didn't work, took 2 days to get a new one. A fuse went somewhere in the building and left me without lights for a night, The staff on the reception told me it was just a reset in my room, but it turned out it wasn't and they needed the maintenance man to restore power. I was made to feel like it was my fault by the reception staff although they didn't say it outright.

One of the staff at reception (Kenneth) had poor customer service skills, not willing to help, no friendliness about him that put us off however all other staff super helpful and friendly.
