Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will look to stay at the Longleaf the next time we are in Raleigh.
Pros:

Enjoyed the staff and the bar downstairs at the end of the workday. The bed was comfortable and the enjoyed the walk in shower. The staff was more the willing to move our room was a bathroom with a tub to one with a walk in shower. The central Raleigh location made it convenient for finding great restaurants in the evening.

Cons:

We thought the traffic noise was louder than we expected. We used the earplugs provided on the 2nd night which was a big help.

Cute Motel
Pros:

Great location, ample parking. The bar in the hotel lobby was also excellent. All the staff were very friendly as well. Bed was comfortable and AC was powerful.

Cons:

Room showed a good amount of wear and tear - definitely just could use a cosmetic refresh and some new carpet (or better yet, switch to LVP). Also a bummer they charge $10 a day for parking… the lot is huge and it seemed unnecessary for guests who are already paying a premium to stay.

Pros:

The location was great. The staff was great and super friendly.

Cons:

It had an old smoke smell. Understanding that it’s an old motel converted going into the property.
