Charming space and very friendly staff. Pretty clean for the most part. Very close to ROM. Pub next door is convenient.
Not a deal breaker for me but maybe for others.. it is basically on fraternity and sorority row since you are in a college town. Also, the Manor is pretty and clearly a time capsule but could use a small update. definitely an old building and bed was not the most comfortable because it is also pretty old.

I would have preferred to be advised in advance that it woudl be a basement room I would be assigned to, but it was adquate for my needs.
The only good things about this room and stay was the fact that we could control the AC so the room was a good temperature and the fact that it was so close to a public transit station.
The WiFi didn’t work, check in in was extremely difficult, checking out was also confusing, it felt as though there was no “front desk” to call with any issues. The room was super cramped, the furniture was beat up, the hotel itself was super hot and stuffy and musty. One of the lights in our room didn’t work, and the location was right within all of the fraternity and sorority houses for university of Toronto. So it was extremely loud every single night until about 3AM when the pub closed. Our room was literally right across from the pub, so it was loud. Everything felt pretty dingy and run down, which felt absurd for the price.

The Internet service was so bad in the room. I travelled got my exam but was not able to use my Internet. There was not even one bottle of water in the room. Given the price of the room the facility was bad. The AC in the room
The first night was not working we called front desk then realised that they don’t have anyone. The departure was very cold. Asked to leave the bags. I work in a hotel and the service was not warm at all.
I was very impressed with Madison Manor, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and very clean, the bathroom had everything we needed with toiletries provided daily and the beds were also turned down on a daily basis. The air conditioning worked well. The hotel is in a fantastic location in a lovely part of Toronto, close to transport links but also still walkable to downtown. The only slight issue was noise from the pub next door but this only happened once and didn't really impact our stay.
Really cool building with amazing mazes of staircases, high ceilings, and eclectic antique wooden furniture in the rooms. Bed was very comfortable, shower was great, clean linens, excellent air conditioning control, in-room delicious coffee and fridge were perfect. The location was perfect for moving our daughter into residence at the university. Parking was great with lots of availability.
Friday and Saturday nights it will be noisy outside until 2am at the Madison pub right next door as it's a very popular university spot!

Al hotel le falta mantenimiento e inversión en renovación de muebles y decoración, está muy descuidado para lo que cobran por habitación. En el baño faltaba gel de ducha, la cisterna del WC no funcionaba bien y el wifi era manifiestamente mejorable.
The location, good to walk to Bloor Street, and other places
The Bar next door is incredibly loud, and noisy- I was on the ground floor, and could hear the heavy doors banging all night and drunk people shouting and screaming up to 3.30 in the morning.
