Charming location in the heart of the beautiful town of Gubbio.
Pros:

The room was large and had excellent views. It had a great charm with period antiques. The location was perfect once we found it; it was hard to find. We had to park a ways from the spot but that was understandable considering it was in the walled city! Truly loved this property and would stay there again!

Cons:

The parking was a challenge but the hotel assured us the ZTL would not be posted to our vehicle as we had an exemption since we stayed there. Let's hope they are correct!

Perfect historical place to stay
Pros:

Perfect location in old medieval Gubbio. Beautiful palace , with gardens throughout. Lovely breakfast. Excellent staff

Cons:

Only improvement would be be a larger bathroom

The staff and location are amazing!
Pros:

The staff are wonderful and the biggest selling point for this property. The location is spectacular. The breakfast buffet was very nice. It was a bonus to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Cons:

It’s apparent that this once was a 4-star hotel (there’s a phone on the wall in the bathroom). It’s still comfortable enough, but there seems to be deferred maintenance. For example. the shower had very low water pressure because of a leaking fixture and the AC unit leaked water on the floor, when it was running.
