Couldn’t have been better. Was expecting a cheap airport hotel but was much nicer and staff were great.
Close to the airport for an early flight. We received breakfast bags as we left early. Clean, staff friendly and helpful.
Our experience with the 3k Porto was very mixed.
The Positive -
Location - Location next to the Porto Airport made this a very convenient one night stay at the end of a long vacation. <5 Min to rental car return and easy access to/from airport.
Breakfast - The included breakfast was one of the best included hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Fresh eggs we watched be made, good pastries, options for cearials, fancy coffee machine. Very good quick, ready breakfast.
The Neutral -
Room was a bit weird.
There was a glass panel from the SHOWER into the ROOM, Right to the single bed my daughter slept in. While this panel was frosted, you could still "see' That a person was in the shower. Couldn't see details, but still odd to know someone was showing. I'd prefer they just add an extra light into the shower.
Room also had no real closet, and a "Shelf" that had a sharp corner right about my wife's head height.
The Bad -
The Air Conditioner in our room would run for 10-15 min and turn itself off. Only way to restart was to hit the "power" button on the thermostat again.
We told the front desk about it and the guy said he would "look into it"... but nothing ever came of it. We decided to just deal with it. When we kept resetting it, we could get the room to 25C only (77F) and overnight while we didn't keep resetting, it rose to 28C (82.4) by the time we woke up. This is the MAIN reason for the 3 star rating. Both the AC not really working AND the lack of interest in the front desk clerk to get it fixed.
Parking - There is very limited free parking on the street. Many people appeared to just park illegally. The hotel offers a few (10?) garage parking places for a fee (8 Euro / night. Reasonable). Garage was REALLY tight to get rental car in and out. More free parking near by would be a big benefit.
Overall - Fine for a 1 night stay near the airport if needed.
Could have easilly been 4 stars if AC was working properly OR hotel took our concerns about it seriously.

A ausência da TV, só soubemos porque ligamos para a recepção onde nos disseram que havia um problema desde a manhã desse dia (uma sexta-feira). Inconcebível, porque não foi resolvido e porque ninguém nos comunicou e também não nos fez a compensação devida.
