Super Gastgeber, sehr gemütliches Haus
Pros:

Hatte eine super Zeit hier! Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, alles ist sauber und die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich.
Die Gegend ist auch gut. Mit den Bus oder dem Zug ist man schnell in der Innenstadt von Glasgow und der Flughafen ist an sich auch gut zu erreichen.

Pessimo, assolutamente sconsigliato.

Parto da una cosa fondamentale: questo alloggio non si trova a Glasgow, ma a Barrhead, fuori Glasgow. Io ho scelto questa struttura basandomi anche sulle recensioni presenti su Booking e, sinceramente, mi chiedo come siano state fatte certe valutazioni e se chi ha lasciato un punteggio così alto abbia realmente considerato tutti gli aspetti del soggiorno.
Sono arrivata alle 15:00 e il check-in era previsto alle 16:00: ho dovuto semplicemente lasciare le mie cose e aspettare. Fin qui, pazienza. Ma il problema è tutto il resto.
Nessun sapone in bagno, nessun caffè, nessun servizio, nessun comfort. In sostanza, un letto e poco altro. Non ci sono nemmeno le chiavi dell’abitazione, quindi persino uscire a fumare una sigaretta diventava un problema perché non potevo rientrare autonomamente.

Non sto parlando di aspettarsi un hotel a cinque stelle: sto parlando di servizi basilari e di un minimo di comodità, soprattutto considerando il prezzo pagato.

La cosa più assurda è che sono arrivata al punto di andarmene alle 6 del mattino pur di lasciare questo posto. Ho pagato per soggiornare qui e mi sono ritrovata completamente senza comfort, senza servizi e con una sensazione di disagio costante.

Se fosse possibile dare zero stelle, lo farei.

E una domanda la rivolgo anche a Booking: prima di inserire e promuovere determinate strutture, vengono verificati realmente gli standard dell’alloggio e la coerenza delle recensioni? Perché leggere certe valutazioni e poi trovarsi davanti a questa situazione è francamente sconvolgente.

Per me è un assoluto NO. Non ci tornerei e non lo consiglierei a nessuno.

Served our purpose
Pros:

Location close to train station
Cleanliness of the property
Only used the rooms to sleep in barely saw the owners as we were out early morning & back late

Cons:

Tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms would have made a nice addition
Key to the main entrance of the property would have been beneficial we felt pressure having to return whilst the owners were still up to let us back in

Very homely and comfortable stay~
Pros:

I had initially expected the location to be in the middle of nowhere but it was a very nice and comfortable walk to the train station, convenience stores, a nice homely bar, and restaurants! The couple who owns the place is absolutely adorable and hospitable. Spotless is the word I would use for the rooms, common areas, and even the garden! We felt incredibly taken care of!

Very elegant and spacious home. The single bedroom was quite large with windows overlooking the street

There is no marker outside to indicate this is a Bed and Breakfast so approaching the front door feels like coming up to a private home.
