Toby's Resort

We stayed at Toby’s Resort twice during our three week roundtrip through Jamaica with our rental car, once directly after arriving in Jamaica and again for our last night before the flight home.

Both stays were great. We had very nice rooms both times and immediately felt welcome and well taken care of. The restaurant was very good, the pool area was relaxing and we especially liked having a balcony during both stays.

The location is also perfect, only about 10 minutes from the airport by car, which makes it an ideal place to stay before or after a flight.

We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it for anyone starting or ending a Jamaica roadtrip.

Muy buena experiencia. La habitación estaba limpia y cómoda, la ubicación excelente, muy cerca de la playa, el aeropuerto y las zonas turísticas. El lugar permite movilizarse fácilmente y disfrutar de Montego con tranquilidad. Además, la atención fue buena y el ambiente agradable. Recomendado para hospedarse.

I booked a room for my friend. She had the conformation number, paperwork ect. We are from Canada. They did not allow her to spend the night. Very dissatisfied. She had nowhere to stay the night before travelling back to Canada!

I stayed at Toby’s Resort again for one night before my flight back to the UK, and it was the perfect way to round off my trip.

The location is incredibly convenient for the airport, which made travel day feel effortless. Once again, the staff were fantastic - warm, welcoming, and consistently helpful.

This visit also came with a rather special and unexpected highlight. I found myself staying during the owner’s wedding celebrations and had the pleasure of observing part of the event from the pool area. It was a beautiful occasion - the couple looked stunning, and there was such a joyful, relaxed atmosphere that seemed to extend to everyone around.

One of my favourite moments was chatting with an 85-year-old second cousin of the groom, who was an absolute delight! Not only was he wonderful company, but he also very confidently assured me he would assist in my search for a husband, a service I had not realised Toby’s Resort offered, but one I very much appreciated!

It was a memorable and heartwarming end to my stay in Jamaica. Thank you again to the team for such a lovely experience.

From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. What stood out most, however, was the exceptional level of service — particularly from Charlene, who was simply fantastic. She was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead, making sure everything ran smoothly and comfortably throughout my stay. Her care and professionalism did not go unnoticed.

More broadly, every member of staff I encountered was kind, approachable, and genuinely helpful. It created an environment that felt both relaxed and well cared for, a balance that is not always easy to achieve.

Thank you to the entire team for making my stay such a pleasant one - It was a wonderful start to my time in Jamaica.
