Exceptionally poor experience
Pros:

To be greeted by a long row of dead bushes on arrival and an old stained façade did not bode well.

Interior carpet stains, a lime of ants in the exterior snack bar, staff who couldn’t deal with a room charge

No hotel schedule or hotel information no nightly turn down service chipped paintwork on the balcony doors and a dirty surfaces on the balcony itself. The double glazing seal was blown on the doors to the balcony.

Although the beds were comfortable the Bathroom facilities were adequate but very tired. Chrome plating on the bidet was worn, bath grab handle loose and two ceiling lights were not working

All in all, having stayed in many 5* hotels in the past, this does not qualify!

המיקום טוב למדי - לא רחוק ממרכז העיר, על שפת טיילת האגם. החדר מרווח והמיטה נוחה. המלון גדול עם מתקנים נוחים וחדר כושר מאובזר, הצוות חביב ושירותי, משתדל לעזור וחייכני, והחניה נוחה מאוד.

Cons:

המלון היה מפואר בעבר אבל הוא כבר מיושן ורצוי לעשות בו שיפוץ - לא מרגיש כמו מלון 5 כוכבים אמיתי. והכי חשוב - אבן יש בידוד מרעש בחלונות המרפסת, אך לא בדלתות. ולכן כל מי שעובר במסדרון ומדבר נשמע היטב בחדר, ואני מניח שגם מי שמדבר בחדר נשמע היטב במסדרון.

Clean and comfortable hotel with a stunning Lake Geneva view.
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. The highlight was the spectacular lake view, which made the experience even more memorable. Waking up to the beautiful scenery of Lake Geneva and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was truly relaxing.

The rooms are a little dated compared to newer hotels, but they are clean, well maintained, and comfortable.

Great location for the lake sights
Pros:

Great location on the lake and to the bus stop, lovely walk on the promenade to restaurants

Cons:

Discount voucher of 10CHF was confusing for the staff to opt out of daily cleaning of the room which we were told can be used in the bar/restaurant, ended up having to pay the bar bill at reception without using the voucher given as they said it was only valid in the restaurant but no other issues

Highly recommend for a Montreux stay
Pros:

Great location, good facilities and comfortable rooms. It is not a new hotel but has been well maintained and staff very friendly and obliging.

Cons:

Generally speaking very little. We were a little underwhelmed by the Bellagio restaurant (meal and service) but otherwise very happy with everything.

That there was all inclusive wellness and fitness with it and breakfast was really nice + it's quite close to center of city

That personally with my room the view wasn't any much that good, and there were some spots that weren't cleaned very good so it didn't feel much like 5 star hotel

Great hotel in perfect location
Pros:

My wife and I stayed here for a week at the end of May. We loved our stay here! I had read some negative reviews before going but I must say I don't understand them. This is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful and friendly staff. In today's world it's refreshing to have the staff always smiling and greeting you and being very friendly. The hotel itself is a perfect location. Its right on the promenade and very close to many restaurants as well as the train station. The breakfasts each morning were great with many options to choose from. Our room was very large and had a great balcony that overlooked the lake. The only negative I can say is the hallway rugs could probably be replaced but other than that, it was always very clean and also very quiet. We also loved the pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Die Lage am See ist mega schön.
Das Zimmer mit seesicht ist groß und sauber gewesen.

Cons:

Das die Bar um 23 Uhr so früh schon schließt.
Beim Restaurant versteht man es aber im Urlaub und Bar im Hotel nicht.
