The Montreux Jazz Festival will take place and will be during the 2 first weeks of July (exact dates to be checked on their website). During this period, in the evenings car access might be difficult and some noise is also to be expected.

Lovely view of Lake Geneva from a classic Montreux Hotel.
Pros:

We enjoyed the size of our room and the lovely view of the lake from it. The location was great for walking. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Parts of the hotel need refurbishing, particularly the hallway carpets.

Apart from the gym, it was really nice.
Pros:

Everything the hotel had to offer. The location, the view from the restaurant / bar overlooking the lake

Cons:

The gym is small with very little equipment. The water fountain on reception was always empty and I had to go into the breakfast area to ask for a bottle of water to fill it up. The staff monitoring that area paid very little attention to the water fountain.

Pros:

La chambre deluxe est tres spacieuse, contrairement à la plupart des commentaires que j’ai pu lire concernant les chambres trop anciennes franchement j’ai trouvé ça top ! J’aime ce style un peu art déco ! Le balcon tres spacieux avec vue sur le Lac ! Mini bar bien garni (même si c’est payant). Salle de bain gigantesque avec 2 lavabo + baignoire et bidet en bonus (chose assez rare). Cerise sur le gâteau: la parking privée souterrain m’a été offert 👍🏻🙏🏻 C’est sûr que je reviendrais !

Cons:

Seul petit détail: Moquette des couloirs à refaire ou à nettoyer.
