The Montreux Jazz Festival will take place and will be during the 2 first weeks of July (exact dates to be checked on their website). During this period, in the evenings car access might be difficult and some noise is also to be expected.

When I arrived there was a truck blocking the entrance, when I asked how I was to park my car I was told they were getting a delivery!
Couldn’t they park somewhere else?
When asked the driver to move there was no problem!
Everything is extra so not great value, even the bottled water is not free!

Die Lage war wunderbar. Das klimatisierte Zimmer ein Segen bei diesen Temperaturen

Cons:

Für ein 5 Stern Hotel erwarte ich längere Öffnungszeiten fürs Frühstücken, wie eine vielseitigere Auswahl am Büffet, wie Käse, Aufschnitt.
Auch das die Bar um 23.00 geschlossen ist, auch für die Gäste.
Das es auf den Zimmern kein Wasser, Mineral zur Verfügung hatte, ausser gegen Bezahlung. Man wurde auf das gute Hahnenwasser hingewiesen.
Für mich ein gutes 4 Stern aber kein 5 Stern Hotel. Preis Leistung stimmen nicht.

Great staff, wonderful experience.
Pros:

The staff was outstanding - they responded positively to every request we made including a room upgrade and moving our car to/from parking. Everyone was wonderful. The A/C in the room was excellent

Cons:

The heat meant the lobby was uncomfortable to remain in for long. A/C would be a nice enhancement.
