Great value hotel with excellent location.
Pros:

Location was fantastic, right outside the NEC

Great staff poor parking and access
Pros:

The staff were excellent thank you. I found the parking too too expensive 😕. I found the location tricky with lots of buttons you have to press to go in and out of the car park which is stupid and pointless 😔

The staff was so helpful

Cons:

The breakfast could definitely improve. It was the only but that wasn't outstanding.
Specially warm options. Some more fruit and the pastries to be better quality

Easy to access, brilliant location for train station and NEC
Pros:

Extremely short walk from Birmingham Internation train station, and equally short to the NEC, which is why we booked. Google Maps said it was a 25 minute walk from the station to the hotel, but it was closer to five, through covered walk ways.

Pros:

1 minute from the arena.5 min walk to the train station.Staff very welcoming. Good shower. Comfortable bed.Breakfast was good.We used the bar before and after the gig and it had a good atmosphere. Much less crowded than the arena resturants for food.

Given its location, I would consider this a business hotel, but unfortunately it falls well short of what's needed for business travellers.

The room was very small, and the desk was no bigger than a lap tray. With the kettle taking up part of the surface, there wasn't enough space to even open a laptop properly. It was simply impossible to work from the room. There is a small meeting/work area downstairs, but it was busy during my stay, so I couldn't rely on it being available.

The room also lacked any drawers, with only hanging a small hanging space for clothes, meaning you'll be living out of your suitcase if staying for more than a night or two.

On the positive side, the location is excellent if you're visiting the NEC, with easy access to the venue. Just bear in mind that the hotel car park is a minimum of a 10-minute walk away, so if rain is forecast, bring a brolly.

Overall, this hotel is perfectly adequate for a one-night stopover if you're catching a flight or attending an event at the NEC. However, if you're planning a longer stay and need to do any work, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Amazing, as usual!
Pros:

Staff were brilliant, breakfast was great and the room was super comfortable

Cons:

Some of the food at breakfast was a little hard where it had been out for a while (hash browns were rock hard) but I wouldn't let it spoil the overall experience.

Pros:

Very clean comfortable room overlooking the lake. Quiet. Good shower, soft towels, kettle, delicious Scottish shortbread, under bed lighting to guide you to the bathroom when dark. Multi level lighting. Stylish. Hairdryer with plug near mirror. Suitcase stand with space to use it properly. Excellent breakfast with wide choice of fruits and cheeses, hot food too. Air conditioning with additional fan if desired

Cons:

No fridge in rooms. Bar area is very noisy with echoing in the evening, making conversation difficult. One member of staff at check in slow and could have been more helpful, had to be assisted by more experienced staff

Incredible, a touch expensive, but a proper luxury.
Pros:

The location in relation to the NEC is unmatched. Staff were great.

Cons:

It's a touch pricey, but you pay for the comfort of no walking post-conference. It was also a little bit of a walk to the car park which was a little much.
