Excellent stay! Wonderful facilities! Great value for money!
Pros:

Very impressed!

Cons:

Needs a little TLC & there were hand prints all over our window balcony.
Very strict on smoking policies more smoking facilities for smokers needed (not fair)

Overall I liked the hotel and I would stay again.
Pros:

I liked the location and the staff were really nice. My suite was also very spacious and somewhat comfortable.

Cons:

I didn’t like the fact that there was no housekeeping service. I had to keep using all the towels to soak up water off the floor every time the shower was used. There was also a fire alarm late at night and even though it turned out to be ok I think that staff should have informed and apologised to all customers.

Pros:

We like the hotel. The entrance and the reception are well maintained. The bar area is good. We enjoyed our last day at the swimming pool, jacuzzi and the sauna and steam room. It was relaxing stay.

Cons:

But the rooms need an upgrade. Carpets are old too. Our bathroom was spacious we had a shower cubicle and bathtub in the room, which was great to have but the shower cubicle kept on flooding. So wasn't worth it. Probably they need to clean the bathroom.

Pros:

Swimming facilities health suit was good

Cons:

Unable to use restaurant was told several different stories why we couldn’t book a table the bathroom in our hotel panels missing soaps etc empty

Do not waste your money
Pros:

Gym and swimming pool were great unfortunately the pool area smelt like cigarette smoke

Cons:

The suite had a broken shower and the reception staff was unhelpful and rude, when I requested another room. For breakfast when following the sign and asking for eggs I was told they had no gas so couldn’t cook anything!

Not the best
Pros:

The girl and the receptionist counter was very helpful I give her 5 stars for trying to make the best of a very bad situation. The pre paid dinner which I did not want and could not get a refund she gave me three bottles of house wine. Which I was happy with. As for the kitchen staff see below my comments

Cons:

The restaurant staff mess us about and lied to us. They had an event on and they just catered for that all they had to offer the rest of the guess was burger and chips or pizza or sandwich for dinner. If we were children that may of been ok. In the end we seeked food outside of the hotel.

Will never stay here again
Pros:

The room was nice and cold in the warm weather about the only positive

Cons:

The service was awful the restaurant was unaccommodating and told us varied stories as to why they basically couldn't accommodate us in the restaurant due to issues with gas and electricity they could only provide a sandwich burger or pizza even though we heard their colleague say the were understaffed I've never stayed at a hotel where I couldn't get an evening meal especially one that was £187 for the night and that kept sending emails to upgrade and pay for the meal in advance of which one party member was refused a refund on even though they could not provide a suitable evening meal absolute shambles and will never stay there again the spoons in my room with the tea and coffee facilities were dirty the whole experience completely marred my whole weekend

Location, walking distance to village. Pleasant helpful staff. Nice ambiance in bar/ lounge area.

Cons:

Nothing really, but a pedestrian entrance/exit gate away from the vehicle entrance would be good for walking to the village.
