Good stay
Pros:

Location good road links plenty of parking close to village and amenities
Resturant very good excellent service
Room good sofa to relax on
Bath/shower needed attention running too hot and not able to regulate
Very high bath so difficult to get out for the elderly

Cons:

Nothing
Stayed here several times at different times of the year.

Disappointing. The rooms need a very deep clean and investigation where the damp is coming from.

Awful damp smell in family room - visible black mold around Felix windows in room had to move room because of this but only to a small double which couldn’t accommodate all of us. The gym also where the equipment like treadmills etc were housed was unclean - very dusty ledges and unclean carpet.

It was a nice enough hotel but would not return due to the staff.

Not worth the money and staff bar 2, need to learn customer service.
Pros:

Theresa the waitress was very helpful as was the manager but it was a shame we needed him to intervene.

Cons:

We booked 3 rooms, one was newly decorated but the shower, once used, wouldn't turn off. We asked for a cot but that took ages to arrive and when the room was changed we had to drag the cot along the corridor to the new room as no staff could/would help us. This new room was smaller and we had to move the furniture for the cot to fit.

Nice staff, shame about the cleaners.
Pros:

Location was ideal for where I needed to go and plenty close enough to local amenities.

Cons:

The hotel currently runs a special deal which should work well for short stay guests. You can either have your room made up or have a free drink from the bar. As a non drinker I opted for a clean, fresh room for my second night. However, the cleaners managed to make one of the beds, the other was hastily made, the duvet was not straight and a pillow was left on the floor. Our wet towels were not replaced, only folded and hung so they didn't dry. Not ideal.
The shower didn't work.
The pool was filthy. Both days there were fingernails on the side of the pool. False nails someone had pulled off and just left there.
